  • Murder in Missoula

This story kept me reading on and on to the finish. I fine it is well written and keeps you asking for more.

  • Not enough to hold your attention

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. It started out well, but the book seemed to be a little unfinished. It moved slowly, and things were explained haphazardly, there wasn’t a continuity and flow to the telling. The killer did give me the chills, and perhaps I was expecting more from the rest of the characters, which I didn’t get. I also expected a bit more of an investigatory explanation from Nicoletti, but everything was just cut and dried and not very suspenseful. The dialogue was also very stilted. The book will probably become a series or a trilogy (as everything is these days), but there wasn’t enough to hold my attention longer than the first book.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A Satisfying Read

In the first part of this book I wondered if it had been written by a robot according to a standard formula. All the characters were stereotypes. However, as the story progressed the suspense developed, and eventually led to a satisfying ending. . It even had an unexpected twist. Nothing new or different, but a satisfying read.
