    memory lane cozy

Humor mixed with a murder, vintage toys and Thanksgiving parade in a small town combine to create an enjoyable reading experience. Liz McCall and her father, Hank a retired police chief, own the East Aurora NY' vintage toy shop. The pre-Thanksgiving annual train & toy show's surprise announcement opens multiple investigations involving Craig McFadden, Liz's school bully, and his comic book shop. Funny incidents with Liz's driving, and a love life that continues to flutter between restaurateur Jack & police chief Ken with a loop thrown in at the end of the book means I will definitely be waiting for the next in this series. I loved reminiscing about the old toys and board games. Characters are well developed and easy to like. I volunteered to read an ARC from Crooked Lane Books through Net Galley.
