  • Well, that was one surprise twist!

I am a huge fan of Piper Rayne's and have been for a while. I am thrilled that we are staying in Alaska with this new series THE GREENE FAMILY and I love seeing cameos of Grandma Dori from THE BAILEYS SERIES since she is besties with Grandma Ethyl who is the matriarch of the Greene Family. In this first novel we have the Eldest of the Greene's Cade finding his HEA.. This series is about a blended family, Cade's mother tragically died when he was twelve years old and his father remarried years later...you can read their story in MY TWIST OF FORTUNE (which is currently free). Cade is now thirty years old and co-owns a Brewery with his step brother Jed. Presley is in Sunrise Bay, Alaska for one reason and one reason only. She doesn't have plans on staying or getting to know the people around the town. But all that changes with one meeting. Presley and Cade are great together, the sexual chemistry is so thick that everyone around them feels it even. I found myself laughing as well as crying while reading this book. There is a reason why I fell in love with Piper Rayne's books and if you haven't read any of them yet this is the time to jump in and see what I am talking about. Do you love series that revolve around large family's and small towns? Well then, this is the book for you. Happy Reading!!!

  • A sweet, at times LOL, small-town romance that has

A fun flirty romance - A solid start to a series that will be a must-read Quick notes: 1st- I will never view charades the same again (I laughed 🤣 so hard) 2nd - The cover (beautiful as it is) IMO did not do this story justice What a wonderful way to start a series. This was a slow build romance with lots of feels. Solid characters both main and supporting that were easy to connect with Presley is an outsider and in a small town like Sunrise Bay where the gossip mill responds faster than lightening - Everyone wants to know who she is and why she looks so familiar. Presley isn't sure what she wants She needs to meet her past and decide her future and... Well, a small taste of Cade is sounding a bit appetizing at this point Turns out she is going to get a lot more of Cade and the Greene family than she could have foresaw A sweet, at times LOL, small-town romance that has all the push and pulls that comes from miswording's, misstepping's, and misunderstandings - and that isn't the only misses happening The back and forth between Cade and Presley was so spot on - it all made sense IDK it didn't feel like contrived angst The grandmas had me rolling - definitely, a take no prisoners bunch Just an all-around light-hearted feel that entertained and delighted Looking forward to the next as this ended with a HEA and set up a bit of a bomb for the next book

  • Loved it

5 Star Review My Beautiful Neighbor (The Greene Family #1) by Piper Rayne   Where do I start? Having read and loved The Bailey series by Piper Rayne I was a tad anxious starting a new family series, I have no idea why I was worried. I loved this book, from the first chapter to the last. The characters are engaging and I love the Greene family who reside in Sunrise Bay, Alaska. They are all up in one another’s business and it was an entertaining read that left me with a smile on my face. The fact that we get to see Dori Bailey and Ethel Greene meddling (aka Thelma and Louise) from the neighboring town of Lake Starlight just added to my enjoyment of this wonderful book. The Greene’s are a blended family and I loved how much interaction there was between them all, regardless of whether they are full, half or step siblings this family has each others back. This is Cade Greene and Presley Knight’s story and what a fabulous introduction it was to this exciting new series. There were times that I wanted to smack Cade up the back of his head with his behaviour as he buried his head in the sand when it came to his feelings for Presley. Presley I loved, despite all she has been through she was strong and determined to stand n her own. I also enjoyed watching her relationship develop with her new found sister. Cade and Presley are instantly attracted to one another and the chemistry sizzles between them. When they embark on a friends with benefits relationship, you just know that things are going to get complicated. The obvious one is that they want to keep it a secret. Since I absolutely adore The Bailey’s I knew that Piper Rayne would have to bring a lot for me to fall for this family as well. This book did not disappoint in any way and now I have a new family to love. The story was fast paced, witty and engaging and I cannot wait to read the next book after how this one ended.

  • swoony, steamy, emotional and all consuming

I am beginning to feel that Piper Rayne cannot write a bad book. There isn't a single story by them that didn't made me feel all the feels. They have this witty, smart and honest way of telling stories those win my heart every single time. And welcome to my newest small town romance obsession, the Greene family and My Beautiful Neighbor is just the beginning! When the first book of a series is so good that I want the next one immediately after finishing it, that should tell you what an epic series it is going to be. Piper Rayne has gifted me a swoony, steamy, emotional and all consuming romance in My Beautiful Neighbor. My heart is full of feels. I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

  • Amazing start to this series!

I've been so excited to get my hands on the first book in Piper Rayne's new Greene Family series. This family lives in the neighboring town to the Bailey's, so we are heading back to Alaska to see what shenanigans this family brings us! Cade Greene is the oldest of the Greene siblings. He's got three biological siblings, four step-siblings and a half brother, so to say their family dynamics are complicated is an understatement. Cade co-owns Truth or Dare bar with his step-brother Jed and he is absolutely mesmerized when a mystery blonde walks into the bar during a private party. The crazy thing is she looks familiar to him, but he has no reason to know her. Presley Knight feels like a fish out of water in Sunrise Bay, Alaska. She's grown up in Connecticut, but has come to town and is trying to keep a low profile at first, but you know how that goes in a small town. As she learns more about the reasons she's in town to begin with, she likes the idea of a fresh start and she feels like this might be just the place to do it. Cade and Presley are attracted to one another immediately. They form a friendship that turns into them being business neighbors. While both of them have reasons for not wanting to get into a relationship, friends-with-benefits isn't off the table. Will they be able to keep it to that or will they catch feelings? This was such a fantastic way to start the series and I am already in love with this Alaskan town and this great big family. I'm excited to see what our favorite grandmother's (both Green and Bailey) get into and how things pan out for all of the Greene kids!
