  • Christmas Magic

Natalie Miller thought she had it all, working in London as an art dealer and a boyfriend that so handsome, he could make any heart flutter in admiration. But it all came crashing down hard when her boyfriend’s family didn’t agree with their relationship so set an event that had her have to pack up quickly and run for her hometown or face consequences. While she is upset at first, another part of her is happy to be home for it’s allowing her imagination of what she can do next to work tirelessly. If what she is thinking about goes right then it would have endless possibilities. But then James shows up in her town of all places, can she handle seeing him again? Would she finally be able to tell him the true reason why she left and that her love for him never stopped. James Phillips had what he thought was a perfect life, being a professor at a very prestigious university in England, a nice place and Natalie who he loved with all his heart. But then she left him without a true explanation and he was a confused man with a broken heart. So when a friend offered him a temporary position with the college that just so happened to be near where Natalie lived he took it. For he was willing to do anything to get back his true love and a chance to find out why she left. But was he prepared for the answers she would give him? Along with another surprise or two along the way? This couple had magic right from the start, anyone who saw them together knew that. They could get back together but it would require a little bit of help from their family, friends and a little Christmas spirit in order for Natalie and James to be the couple so many dream of being. This is the 4th book in the Compass Cove series by Jeannie Moon but it can be read alone. While I am not suppose to really have my favorites, I must say this is one of mine. It’s one of those that you can read multiple times and each time it touches your heart. The magic, the connection, the love, everything in this book is just so incredible. It is definitely a book to be added to your must read pile and keep!!

  • Simply marvelous!

My past visits to Compass Cove have been a series of wonderful mini vacations to this quaint and lovely small town. But there’s something extra magical when the holidays are celebrated in this coastal community. When Natalie moves home after an incident on the job at an art gallery, she’s not sure where her life is headed, Natalie is missing James and keeping most of the events that brought her home from friends and family. When James hears a rumor concerning his family’s role in driving away Natalie, he decides to take a job at Jennings College, which is coincidentally located in Natalie’s home town. He hopes to talk with Natalie, hoping to get her back. Or let her go if that’s her wish. Natalie is such a strong woman, but that facade hides self doubt and anxiety. James’ proper upbringing is charming, but there’s fire, humor and intelligence in man, as well. Not only does this couple have chemistry to spare, but they share laughter and friendship as well. Their story is relatively low on angst but huge on feelings. While I have read the whole series and am familiar with many of the secondary characters, a new reader will have no problem enjoying this book. In fact, I’m sure they’ll be motivated to go back and enjoy the previous stories. My Christmas Wish is one of my very favorite books of the year. The characters, the setting and the story were so beautifully written, I could almost hear their voices and feel the breezes off the ocean. Natalie and James will warm you, heart and soul.

  • Great Read!

What a wonderful Christmas read. This is the forth book in the series and it is a second chance romance book. Natalie and James were great together. I loved their story. I found it to be sweet, entertaining and even intriguing in parts. From the very beginning it was a real page turner. I would highly recommend. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

  • Magical Christmas in Compass Cove

I am so glad to see this series continue with My Christmas Wish being the fourth book in the Compass Cove Series. I must say it has been a while since a book in the series has been published. However Jeannie Moon’s new book was worth the wait in this second chance story. It is really more of a not-going-to-give-up-on-us story too. My Christmas Wish has a lovely couple with some lovely family and some family not so much so. The magical Christmas setting along with the town of Compass Cove seems to say anything is possible especially for two to work through the problems. Ms. Moon does an amazing job of making you love Natalie, James, Christmas in Compass Cove, and the confidence in Christmas wishes coming true. 4.5 Stars An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
