  • All the feels!

I fell in love with Andie and Wyatt and have been waiting for their story ever since reading Elementary Romantic Calculus. My expectations were high - and Susannah Nix sure delivered! <3 One of Susannah Nix's (many) strenghts is creating complex, flawed characters that feel real - and that I more often than not can easily root for. In this case, it wasn't olny Andie and Wyatt who stole my heart (although I'll admit that I got a bit frustrated with Wyatt's chickening out and was frankly surprised at how easily Andie forgave him). But I also loved that Mia and Josh got lots of "page time," and getting to know the King clan and witness their messed-up family dynamics was highly entertaining. I can't (read: don't want to) wait for the next book in the series!

  • Friends to lovers

ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book in a brand new series, how exciting! Andie and Wyatt in the last book of the Chemistry lessons series (Mia and Josh story). Andie’Lockhart s big brother Josh has always been super protective of her, but now she is a grown woman, and an independent, strong and capable one. Furthermore, Josh is Wyatt's best friend since they were kids. Andie unrequitedly loves Wyatt, who is a serial dater with no intention to settle down. Little does she knows that he loves her too, but he made a promise to Josh to always protect her, even from himself. Wyatt Kings’s family is complicated. All his brothers and stepbrothers work for the lucrative King’s Creamery Ice Company. Only Wyatt chose his own path as a handyman to his father's displeasure. Andie lives in the house that her beloved grandmother left her. When the house is threatened by a real estate developer the only person who can help her is Wyatt. He eagerly swoops in to save the day. Of course, the more time they spend together the more is difficult to fight their attraction. How I loved these characters. They feel like real people you would like to meet. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

  • Incredibly hot, sweet and steamy

Just like a tub of Thar She Blows! bubblegum ice cream, My Cone and Only is the perfect blend of sweet and sour. I loved Andie and Wyatt’s story - it is incredibly hot, sexy, steamy, and yet, heartbreakingly tender. Thank you NetGalley and Susannah Nix for my copy. All comments and opinions are my own.

  • Oh that Wyatt😉

🍦😋Pining, pining for their hearts' desire: fun start to a new, spin-off series💏 Really excellent romance for Wyatt and his best friend's younger sister Andie who have known each other since childhood. Told in alternating perspective, it's a story that had me totally involved with the lead characters and their dilemmas. You get a good understanding of why Mr. Flirty One Night Stand Wyatt King is not as irredeemable as he seems. I still had my issues with his view of how a relationship between them needed to go, but I have to say, Wyatt's confrontation with his dad near the end had my heart racing. I thought it was one of the best scenes in the book! As for Andie, wow, this girl can get aggressive when she's playing with her man (let's just say being in public venues does not inhibit her AT ALL). I guess it's all that pent up emotion finally getting released after years of yearning from the sidelines!😯 Wyatt has a huge family to keep track of but I did not worry about that overmuch as I believe they will all get their chances to take center stage later in the series. A few of the other characters were brought over from the last novel in Nix's STEM romance series, but this one can easily be read as a standalone. A Texas small town with singles ready for romance (not limited to the young folk either): sign me up!

  • Melted my heart!

Another amazing book! I knew Wyatt and Andie would have an epic love story. This brother’s best friend & friend’s to lovers combo has it all. I swooned so hard. There was so much that I loved about this series and I’m looking forward to rest of the King brothers and what makes them tick.
