My Famous Frenemy is the sixth book in The Greene Family series and after a tease of what might be coming in a Greene Family Summer Bash, I was very interested to see how things played out! Gavin Price, who is an actor and got started in the business as a child, has relocated to Sunrise Bay for a new start. He met Posey Greene at the family's summer party a year before, but now that's he's in Alaska for good, he finally finds the courage to ask her out for real. Gavin decides he's going to run for mayor, a position in which Posey's Mom, Marla, is running for as well. With her allegiance being what it is, with her Mom, Posey tells Gavin she can't see him anymore, regardless of the mad chemistry they have. Will Posey decide to put her own happiness before others or will she do what she thinks is best for everyone else? I enjoyed both Posey and Gavin, but I have to say Gavin was incredibly genuine and sweet, which brought out a totally different side of him that I didn't anticipate. This was another great addition to The Greene Family series!

  • full of swoony sexy vibes

With each book, the Greene family is getting deeper and deeper in my heart. Piper Rayne delivered this brilliant enemies to lovers romance full of swoony sexy vibes in My Famous Frenemy. And I am obsessed with Gavin and Posey. Adorable characters. The sweetest family with strong bonding. The full range of small town romance beauty. This cannot get better. Hollywood Heartthrob Gavin Price has escaped to Sunrise Bay, a cute small town in Alaska to avoid all the negativity of his world. And he is falling fast for Posey Greene, the hairdresser and youngest Greene. The Greenes basically is like a royalty in this town and Marla Greene, the matriarch is running for Mayor. The problem? He is running for it too. And Posey, being her mother's campaign manager, doesn't want to go anywhere near him no matter how much he tries to woo her. This story was just too good. Piper Rayne created such a heartwarming and sweet love story with their little masterstrokes. Posey is a headstrong and adorable girl. She is still carrying the burden of her parents' failed relationship and her mother's happiness is the most important thing for her. Even above her own happiness. I love her big heart so much. Gavin is nothing like the usual Hollywood celebrity. He is down to earth, charming and honest and real with smoking hot sex appeal. He considers this election as his chance to start fresh, to make some real changes and to become someone good. But it is also standing between his girl and him. But fear not. We have this magical small town with its nosey citizens, meddling grandmas extraordinaire and the power of Greene family love to push them. Gavin was nothing if not persistent and open and loving and Posey did break his heart for her own stubbornness. But they have this crazy chemistry and undeniable connection and it all worked out beautifully in the end! I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

  • Great addition to the series

My famous frenemy is another great installment in the Greene Family Series. I cannot get enough of this large family in small town Alaska, they just have a way of worming themselves into your hearts and leaving you with such feel good feelings you want to move to Sunrise Bay and hang out with them all....and that is exactly what Gavin Price did. Posey would do anything for her mom so when her mother decides to run for Mayor of Sunrise Bay it's a no-brainer that she would be her campaign manager. But when Posey finds out that her childhood crush, heart-throb actor, Gavin Price is running against her, things are just starting to heat up for this fiery redhead. I loved Gavin and Posey together, they have such great chemistry...they didn't need grandma Ethel or Dori's interference in getting them together, but it was sure fun watching what these ladies had in store for them. If you enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Small Town Romances, Large Family Romances, or are just looking for an all around good read I highly recommend not only this book but the whole Greene Family Series. Happy Reading!!!

5 Star Review My Famous Frenemy (The Greene Family #6) by Piper Rayne AUDIO REVIEW: It was great being back with the Greene family in Sunrise Bay, Alaska. This is Posey Greene and Gavin Price’s story and was a fabulous addition to the series. Gavin has moved to Sunrise Bay to escape the Hollywood lifestyle he has had enough of. Having finally cut ties, the recovering addict has settled in Alaska and has decided to run for mayor. I enjoy enemies to friends, to lovers, stories and this one was a great. It was fun to listen and read as the push and pull dynamic of Posey and Gavin’s relationship developed. The narrators Ava Lucas and Nelson Hobbs did a wonderful job expressing the fun, at times adversarial relationship between Posey and Gavin. Their voices are easy to listen to and they did justice to the myriad of emotions that the characters went through in this story. From the moment Gavin ran Posey off the road he has been attracted to her and the chemistry continues to sizzle between them. The family all weigh in on their budding relationship as Posey helps Marla with her campaign to become the new mayor in direct opposition to Gavin which added an extra layer to the drama. Thrown together time and again lines are soon crossed and made for a was smoking hot fun story. When the family is thrown a curve ball it puts Marla’s campaign in jeopardy and will cause even more complications for the blossoming relationship between Posey and Gavin. Can Posey and Gavin finally get on the same page or are they destined to be pulled apart by miss communication and circumstance? One click and find out.
