Being bad has never looked so good.

Being bad has never looked so good. Sinful Longing is my favorite to date within the Sinful Nights series. Elle and Colin weren't fooling anyone. Together they were sex on a stick. They pushed each other to experience new things and development more as a couple and as individuals. But it wouldn't be realistic if there were no problems to overcome. Outside forces such as long withheld secrets, insecurities and the arena of public opinion provided some major roadblocks. I received an ARC of Sinful Longing by Lauren Blakely in exchange for an honest review.

    The sinful series

This series is a must read. Loved the romance, the fire in each couple, the strong connection, love and loyalty of family. A series I would definitely recommend . Look forward to the next book on this series.

    Sexy, heartwarming friends-to-lovers romance!

Colin and Elle have been friends for a year, but one perfect evening together causes both to question whether there can be -- or should be -- more. Colin's life is pretty turbulent since the investigation into his father's murder has recently been reopened, and he finds he's ready to find more meaning in his relationships, especially with Elle. The mystery that started in the first book and really got going in the second has some intense and surprising revelations in this story. Connections that you'd never expect are revealed, and these details are brilliantly threaded throughout Colin and Elle's blossoming relationship. They get a very satisfying HEA for the romance, while everything regarding the murder investigation is left wide open and headed in an entirely new direction. I really enjoyed this story, and I am immensely enjoying the entire Sloan family story arc throughout all the books. All the various characters are very well-developed, and the use of multiple first-person POV really keeps the intensity amped up from start to finish. I can't wait to see how it all wraps up. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Mystery and intrigue, plus sweet romance.

I’m loving this re-imagined series by Lauren Blakely. It’s got more suspense and mystery than is usual for her books, but that only adds to the enjoyment of the story. Colin and Elle were a sweet partnership, being friends first puts the whole should we/ shouldn’t we back and forth into the plot. They had chemistry even though they were only friends to begin with and it was fun watching them find their true feelings and falling for each other. Meanwhile, the whole murder mystery is still chugging away as Detective Wilson digs ever deeper for answers. His separate POV was intriguing and made me want to know more… about the man and the case. Hopefully, more answers will be found in the next book; My Sinful Love.

    ....

I just read the preview of the book. I think this book is meant to be made for adults. I really didn't like this book but I guess its ok...
