  • Sweet and swoonworthy!

We've made it back to Sunrise Bay, Alaska with the Greene family and this was a good one! Jed Greene has just found out he's a father. Not just a father, but a single father, to a three year-old little girl. Jed is a notorious commitment-phobe, so even committing to raising his daughter is proving to be a challenge. He leans on his family and his employee, and his sister's best friend, Molly, to help out as well. Molly Monroe has been around the Greene family for years. She and Nikki have been besties for as long as anyone can remember. Molly works at Truth or Dare Brewery and she's also going to school and trying to finish her degree. She runs into an issue with the child that she's been helping in order to finish her requirements, but when she realizes that Jed's daughter is showing signs of delayed speech, she offers to help. Jed, Molly and Emilia begin spending a lot of time together and not only do Molly and Jed become attached to Emilia, they become attached to one another. The attraction they've always felt is something they can't deny anymore. Will they be able to make something work or will the issues both of them have faced in the past cause too many hurdles? I was engaged with this story from the very beginning and Emilia was just adorable! This was sweet, swoonworthy and definitely had plenty of emotion!

  • My Sister's Flirty Friend

4.5 Maple Leaf Review of My Sister's Flirty Friend (The Greene Family 4) by Piper Rayne "I know it's crazy, but somewhere through all of this, I fell for you. And I know I've hurt you in the past, but I want to make up for that. I don't deserve a second chance, but I'm asking for one anyway because I can't live without you." Jed and Molly have both had complicated pasts and some serious tension between them for years. When Jed finds out that he is a father, everything in his world spirals and him and Molly start spending time together behind closed doors. Things between Jed and Molly blow apart and there is a new tension between them. As Molly starts working with Emilia and spending more time with Jed, things start to change again. I always love visiting with the Greene family and heading to Alaska. Of course, there are the meddling family members and the hijinks at the Northern Lights retirement community. Jed and Molly have some serious tension and chemistry between them just pours off the pages. Emilia tugged at my heart with how adorable she is. I am excitedly awaiting the next book in the Greene Family Series. Audio... Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum were both great and managed to give Jed, Molly, and the story the perfect voices. My Sister's Flirty Friend is a small town, sibling's best friend, enemies to lovers, surprise child, single dad romance told in the first-person point of view of Jed and Molly and can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading all of The Greene Family books.

  • Jed & Molly finally get their story!

I am so glad the audiobook released early, I absolutely loved the narration from Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum, they did a great job with bringing Jed and Molly to life. Jed and Molly have been flirting with one another for ages, well since we first met them anyway, and it was just a matter of time before they got together and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's grateful that we didn't have to wait any longer for their story. But honestly, I have been dying for Jed's story since we found out that he had a daughter that he knew nothing about, can you imagine finding out that you fathered a child three years ago and didn't know about it...geeze louise that's gotta hurt. And how would Molly play into all of this? Well, thank's to the powers that be...namely the writing duo of Piper and Rayne we are gifted with a story that was so beyond what I had ever imagined it would be. Jed's father did a real number on him and his siblings when they were younger so they are each dealing with things as they find their HEAs. For Jed he has sworn off marriage and kids, well if that isn't karma throwing a wrench into things for him I don't know what is. But it's a perfect way for him to realize he isn't his father and he can do better, and watching him come to that realization is a wonderful thing. Emilia is the cutest little girl and she will have you wrapped around her finger in no time at all. Molly's backstory is one that I hadn't expected at all and wow did it add a new dimension to the story line. This story is one that is very easy to recommend to just about everyone. If you enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Small Town Romances, Reformed Playboy Romances, Boss/Employee Romances, Sibling's Best Friend Romances, or Single Dad Romances I would recommend this book to you. Happy Reading!!!

  • Two flirts and a baby

The Greene’s are back baby! The Greene’s are a large blended family of nine step siblings and one half brother. Jed and his brother Cade own a brewery in Sunrise Bay Alaska. Molly grew up with the Greene’s, is best friends with Jed’s sister Nikki, and works at the brewery. Jed has flirted with Molly for years, but neither of them acted an their attraction. Jed’s world is turned upside down when he learns that he has a three year old daughter. Trying to become a good father has him rethinking his life, and his relationship with Molly. This was a really enjoyable installment in this series. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for my honest review.

  • You could not have crafted a better moose and puff

My favorite characters are still the Gma's They have me rolling every time Jed made me mad in the beginning. It isn't all about you! Man up! I get it, rough childhood, bad parents, etc But you are not the demons of your past You get to choose Choose wisely You have a veritable pot of gold within your grasp Jed that goes for you as well though I think you have been on the right track for a long time - it is just time to sprint to this finish line And Little one? It is all going to be okay. You could not have crafted a better moose and puffin. If you enjoy small-town gossip Nosey, large families Matchmaking Granny's Second and the occasional third chances Oh and the sweetest at times a bit bumbling of romances Then you'll want to one-click this beauty Another Greene is about to fall Go - Laugh - Fume - Love
