    Fun , exciting

3.5★ I enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure in the beginning I would. It started out a bit slow and the back and forth was a bit much in the beginning. But I really ended up enjoying it and had a hard time putting the book down. The Mystery to what Jack is kept me glued to the page… the same with Leah…. It was clear early on that there is something more to her, but not what. The book really picks up after the first 30 pages and the pace increases to a steady and enjoyable pace. I also really liked the concept of the story and liked that we learn along with Jack what was going on. Some of the things happening were a bit too convenient for me to fit in the story but it really didn’t bother me all too much. The beginning also reminded me a bit f the Vampire Diaries (TV show) in the beginning with the whole doppelganger theme. But again not too much and it had enough of its own content to not bother me too much and be new and fresh. Neither Jack, nor Leah were my favorite both had a semi annoying site to them, but overall I enjoyed them. Another thing that bothered me a bit was Grady and his flip-flopping attitude towards Jack. It just didn’t feel right and a bit forced like just to be there for the drama. I absolutely loved Ed and his shop. But by far my favorite was Artagan and I really wanted more of him and I have high hope for that in the next book. Overall I enjoyed it and ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would and after the cliffhanger I’m curious to see what happens next. I rate it 3.5★
