The boys are back in Blighty!

In this follow up to Desert Heat we find that as the Brits have left Afghanistan, Hugh is back on Camp in Wiltshire and Rustam is finally finishing up his medical training in London. Due to circumstances beyond their control they have not seen each other for weeks - and after spending months literally in each others pockets it is hard on them both. Finally, Hugh gets time off to go visit with Rustam - but things are a wee bit awkward. How do you go from sneaking around and hurried trysts to actually getting to know one another without constantly looking over your shoulder to see who is watching? How can they finally become a 'real' couple? I am really pleased that Lucy has given us this follow up, it's like meeting up with old friends. Native Tongue could be read as a Standalone but why deny yourself the pleasure of meeting the boys first hand in Desert Heat. I was lucky enough to be asked to Beta read this book and I cannot thank Lucy enough for the opportunity.

So happy the boys are back

Native Tongue by Lucy Felthouse Yeah so much better now I know what has happened between Hugh and Rustam. Now that they are back on British soil they can find out where this relationship will go. The one bad thing is that they have to keep it private because of Hugh. These two have a great relationship and it is so sad that they can’t come out in public and acknowledge their love for one another quite yet but once they do, oh man! I did giggle a little when Hugh gets together with his family. You are going to love his talk with his mom. Priceless! This was a perfect ending for Hugh and Rustam or is it? You just never know what Lucy is going to do.. I received this book as a gift from the author in return for an honest review.
