    Made for TV Romance!

I've loved this sweet, yet steamy at times, series about a group of friends taking an interesting marketing idea to save their local hangout, The Fix on Sixth. The underlying story features a contest every two weeks to ultimately find twelve locals to represent each month in a calendar that will be sold to raise money to save the bar. The search for Mr. March draws the spotlight on Cameron, bartender turned Weekend Manager for the Fix, whose abs we met in the Mr. February contest. The romance trope in this third book is about Cameron's attraction to his best friend's little sister, Mina. Mina's career goal is to work in cinematography so she volunteers to help the reality tv show (featuring the couple from the previous book in the series, Hold on Tight) that is using The Fix as its latest remodeling project, so she's at the bar every day. Those around them can see the growing attraction between the two, but Cam and Mina try to tamp down their feelings for different reasons. A sudden event results in an adrenalin-filled kiss releasing their pent-up feelings. I don't know how J. Kenner continues to create such strong, interesting (sometimes flawed) characters that are also relatable to the reader. Cam and Mina respect one another's educational and career goals, but it's those same goals which creates the conflict with their budding romance. Absolutely loved the creative dates Cam took Mina on, and how well they fit his character. Can't wait to catch future glimpses of their relationship as the series progresses! Also love the added bonus of "running into" crossover characters from Kenner's other series!

    A great addition

4.5 Star Review Need You Now (Man of the Month #3) by J Kenner The third book in the series and is Cameron Reed and Mina Silver’s story. This was a fun quick friends to lovers story which flowed well and was entertaining. Cameron has been in love with his best friends twin sister since childhood but she has never seen him in that light. Or has she? Cameron is concerned that his friendship, not only with Mina, but is best friend, would be in jeopardy if he crosses the line and moves on his long buried passion. However when circumstances offer him the perfect opening, he decides to jump all in. Unfortunately Mina does not appear to be as committed to their new found relationship. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone but honestly I think you will get more enjoyment if you read in order as previous characters pop in. Will Mina put the new relationship she finds herself in with Cameron first, or will she take the job of a lifetime move across the country? I fell really hard for Cameron and so wanted him to get his happily ever after. Mr March, you are one gorgeous man. The characters were easy to relate to, not only the main characters but the supporting ones as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this extremely well written and entertaining story and I cannot wait for the next book in the Man Of The Month series.

Hidden in plain sight, under a shirt, in a heart

Need You Now by J. Kenner is book #3 in the Man of the Month series. As we continue the efforts to save The Fix on Sixth we were already introduced to bartender Cameron Reed highlighted by his antics in the February Man of the Month competition with "Comic Relief" scrawled across his chest. Mina Silver and her twin brother have been best friends, practically siblings, with Cameron. Unbeknownst to her, Cameron has had an unrequited crush for almost that entire time, when a moment passes between them, a spark lights for her as well, but they are going in different directions. Cameron to grad school and Mina to Los Angeles as soon as she can land a job there. I liked that while the tension between them about losing their friendship and Mina's brother Darryl's trust was there, it wasn't dragged out. The cast of characters that we have already been introduced to add to the whole of this book as well as some additional Stark World characters who make appearances. The passion, love and connection between Cameron and Mina was intoxicating and each learns things about the other that even with their years of friendship were unknown. Overall I have very much liked all the books in this series and Need You Now by J. Kenner is a great addition. As a friend's to lovers novel, it shows that love can hope and yearn for years, or just spark suddenly, and be just as strong. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

    Better than the other 2

Need you now is the third book in the man of the month series and so far the best. We have Mina and her brother's best friend Cam. Cam had a crush on Mina for many years now, but he never acted on it because he was respecting his friend and Mina didn't have any feelings for him until recently. I liked Cam, but I only tolerated Mina. She got some points at the end of the book, for most of it, I didn't like her much. When she called her friend with benefits I almost lost all hope for the series and the author because I believed I would be forced to read the very thing that made me wanna forget I ever got my hands on the first book aka the main character sleeping with a person who wasn't the hero or the heroine. Thankfully that didn't happen and I was relieved. Cam was a good hero. He tried to get what he wanted and he managed to get the girl and he was sweet. Also, he didn't allow Mina to push him away when she said that wanted things to be casual. He went for what he wanted and saved me from a headache. I was mostly happy with the book and the way things worked out in the end. I hope Mina's brother will get a story (one of the 12 men can be gay, right?). He was the best character in the book and I loved him.

    Sweet, sexy, and so romantic!!

Sometime's our heart's desire has been right in front of us all along, you just have to be brave enough to grab onto it. That's the wonderful story of Cam and Mina. Cam has loved Mina since he was a teenager. Mina has viewed him as a "brother". Can Mima actually see Cam for who he is? J. Kenner's Man of the Month series gets hotter and hotter each month.
