    A great addition

4.5 Star Review Need You Now (Man of the Month #3) by J Kenner The third book in the series and is Cameron Reed and Mina Silver’s story. This was a fun quick friends to lovers story which flowed well and was entertaining. Cameron has been in love with his best friends twin sister since childhood but she has never seen him in that light. Or has she? Cameron is concerned that his friendship, not only with Mina, but is best friend, would be in jeopardy if he crosses the line and moves on his long buried passion. However when circumstances offer him the perfect opening, he decides to jump all in. Unfortunately Mina does not appear to be as committed to their new found relationship. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone but honestly I think you will get more enjoyment if you read in order as previous characters pop in. Will Mina put the new relationship she finds herself in with Cameron first, or will she take the job of a lifetime move across the country? I fell really hard for Cameron and so wanted him to get his happily ever after. Mr March, you are one gorgeous man. The characters were easy to relate to, not only the main characters but the supporting ones as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this extremely well written and entertaining story and I cannot wait for the next book in the Man Of The Month series.

    Made for TV Romance!

I've loved this sweet, yet steamy at times, series about a group of friends taking an interesting marketing idea to save their local hangout, The Fix on Sixth. The underlying story features a contest every two weeks to ultimately find twelve locals to represent each month in a calendar that will be sold to raise money to save the bar. The search for Mr. March draws the spotlight on Cameron, bartender turned Weekend Manager for the Fix, whose abs we met in the Mr. February contest. The romance trope in this third book is about Cameron's attraction to his best friend's little sister, Mina. Mina's career goal is to work in cinematography so she volunteers to help the reality tv show (featuring the couple from the previous book in the series, Hold on Tight) that is using The Fix as its latest remodeling project, so she's at the bar every day. Those around them can see the growing attraction between the two, but Cam and Mina try to tamp down their feelings for different reasons. A sudden event results in an adrenalin-filled kiss releasing their pent-up feelings. I don't know how J. Kenner continues to create such strong, interesting (sometimes flawed) characters that are also relatable to the reader. Cam and Mina respect one another's educational and career goals, but it's those same goals which creates the conflict with their budding romance. Absolutely loved the creative dates Cam took Mina on, and how well they fit his character. Can't wait to catch future glimpses of their relationship as the series progresses! Also love the added bonus of "running into" crossover characters from Kenner's other series!

    4 Stars!

The Man of the Month series all started when the local bar called The Fix on Sixth's loan was called in. Tyree, the owner, trusted the wrong guy to finance the start of the bar and now this guy wants the loan paid off in full or lose it. Employees and friends do not want to see the bar close. Long time friends, Jenna, Reece and Brent jump in to invest in the bar and come up with ways to raise money and bring more customers in. Jenna comes up with the idea to hold a Calendar of the Month contest for the public to choose each months model for the Calendar as a way to bring in more customers. In the second book, Jenna was able to secure a tv series based off the renovations of the bar and highlighting the Calendar of the month contest. In the third installment of the Man of the Month series we get Cam an Mina's story. Cam is the newly appointed weekend manager. Mina is the sister of Cam's best friend and the intern for the tv series. Since Mina has been spending so much time at the bar for the show, Cam's crush has gone into overdrive. Mina has big dreams of making it in the entertainment industry and longs to move to LA for her big chance. One Cam finally makes his move, Mina has to decide what's more important. Her big break or Cam. Cam came off pretty laid back and almost shy in the previous books. It was a great surprise to see him go all alpha on Mina. I'm enjoying this series and seeing all the characters find their other halves. It was a nice surprise getting to see Damien and Nikki Stark in this book as well as Noah and Kiki. Fun addition to the series

I'm such a sucker for the best friend's sister trope. In fact, it's in my top three tropes so I was excited to see J. Kenner's take on it for this installment of the Man of the Month books. I wasn't disappointed. This book caught me by surprise. After meeting Cam in the other books I didn't expect him to be who he was in this book. Please note, this is not a complaint at all! I thoroughly enjoyed who he was here. I just wasn't expecting it. He was a fabulous book boyfriend-hot and sexy. Once he decided to finally make his move? Mina better watch out. I had a harder time connecting at first with Mina. There were some moments that had me groaning in frustration but they passed. I did wind up liking her and understanding her internal struggle, it just took me a minute to get there. I liked these two together. Again, I love the best friend's sister trope and I thought it was well done here. This was a sassy and flirty book overall, as all of the books in the series have been. I enjoyed this quick read and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Sexy best friends to lovers romance.

Need You Now is the 3rd installment of the Man of the Month, a brand new series by J. Kenner. This one stars Cam, the youngest bartender at The Fix on Sixth, the bar where all the action takes place and is the main feature of all the interconnected stories. The owners of the bar need to improve sales and having a calendar contest the aforementioned Man of the Month is just one of the ideas they came up with. There’s also a reality show being produced detailing the improvements to the bar and featuring the contest. Camhad entered the last one (Mr February) as a joke, but now for March, he’s dead serious. Mina, is interring with the show’s producers and it’s here that she and Cam met, although they know each other already as she is Cam’s best friend’s sister. The girl he’s had his heart set on for a long time, so spending more time together is something he’s not adverse to. Mina wants dreams of being a star, she has her eyes and heart set on LA, just hoping for a chance to shine, she’s totally oblivious to how Cam really feels about her. When he finally makes it clear where his affections and desires lie, she is forced to look at what she truly wants from her life. Cam was pretty forceful with his intentions in this book, he seems like a happy-go-lucky kind of guy in the previous two stories, but then, he was just a secondary character. Will his love be enough to for Mina or will she walk away? It’s a chance of stardom or Cam, which will she choose?
