    Next Door Knight

I fell to this series. I could not put it down!Nicole is a new author for me and I will keep her! Kerry Williams has jobs but this is her favorite. She goes to the Vets and her Corgi, Willow comes to visit. Her other is her father Ron, that broke two legs skiing. Her neighbor Caleb is a hermit. But not now, he gets her corgi body to come right to it. Caleb now goes to help and helps him too. Kerry had a rotton man and will toss her away. Now he is possing to make her give him money. These two people are really like. See how this comes out!? These two people are really like each other. Put Willow down and she is a third one. It is a good show for the other Veterans! I would recommend anyone to try this book to read. They go real in their homes as they give the book a chance! Keep tissues close because I sure did all the time! You won't regret it.

    Great read about healing

Next Door Knight was a good 4 star read and book two in the Man’s Best Friend series. This is Kerry and Caleb’s story. Kerry has her father living with her temporarily while he heals from two broken legs. When her dog runs off she ends up meeting her new neighbor Caleb who happened to find Willow. Caleb is currently on medical leave from the air force and is having a hard time coping with things. When Kerry asks him to sit with her dad while she is at work he agrees. Willow is starting to grow on Caleb. He suffered a loss during the ambush he was in and being around Willow is giving him comfort. I really loved Willow, she made me think about my fur babies. And when Kerry would take her to visit the veterans it really tugged at my heart strings, such great therapy. I really enjoyed this read and had so many different emotions while reading. Willow brings these two together to help them heal and find love. Can these two have a HEA?

    Loved Willow!!

Two wounded hearts that the cutest rescue corgi, Willow will bring together. Kerry and Caleb are neighbors that Willow brings together by escaping into Caleb's yard. Caleb is on medical leave as a K-9 officer and the last thing he wants in his life is another dog. Kerry is trying to manage life as her father's caretaker and a new job. Caleb offers to help with Kerry's dad and soon a friendship to develops. They are both hiding past turmoils in their life's but will Willow save the day? A heartwarming story that Willow steals by heart. Great characters that I so enjoyed reading. This is the second story in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

Have the tissues ready, but enjoy the ride!

I loved the diversity of characters in this story, you have one strong-willed woman fresh from being dumped after being emotionally abused. Kerry Williams is glad to help her father during his recovery, but after being snubbed by the home care service, she's left in a bind. Enter the handsome, yet troubled neighbor who just wants to be left to his own misery and devices, but an interfering corgi brings the two together. Caleb Bradshaw has a heart of gold, but he's incredibly traumatized from losing everything he cared about in such a short time period.

love a book that touches your heart

The cover of this book caught my eye to start with.,Hot guy and a cute dog! This book is going to be a good one I knew that. Yes I read the first book in the series (which also featured a dog) but know each book is a stand alone so you are fine reading each out of order or alone. BUT I would highly recommend reading Blind Date Bet as well. Kerry has come home to help take care of her dad who is recovering from injuries and can't get around by himself. She has a new job she is starting and a little corgi dog Willow who is a first class escape artist. Her next door neighbor Caleb is snarky, surly and downright broody but Willow is determined to break through all his moods and yes his fence too... almost every single day. I imagine my brother who served in the K-9 unit is just like Caleb and when I read this book I could easily imagine him acting like Caleb did when my brother lost his partner. This book touched so many places in my heart and life. This book is exactly what one wants in a book...it had you thinking about things but escaping at the same time. I look forward to seeing where our author takes me in the next book in this series. I know we will have a little 4 legged friend as well so looking forward to seeing what breed we will get the honor of visiting with.
