    Sweet

I have said this with each book in this series, but they are so heartwarming. I get the warm fuzzy feeling when I read this series, and I love it! Sawyer could be such a contradiction, but it works so well for him. He is someone that I would love to know in real life. Sky is so sweet and caring, and in some ways a little too sheltered. I love the outlook that she has on life. This entire series has been so great to read, and I love getting to catch up with all the characters from the previous books. It's like coming home to old friends. I can't wait for the next book!

    True to life love

Nights at Seaside is the 6th book in The Sweet with Heat:Seaside Summers series by Addison Cole.It is also a standalone book. You meet characters from the other books, and are able to see the relationships that have been formed. I recommend reading them all. Sky LaCroux is a free spirit, poetry loving, hippyish, free flowing artist. She is awaiting the grand opening of her dream of the moment, Inky Skies, a tattoo shop in the artsy community of Provincetown, Massachusetts. Sawyer(Songbird) Bass is a tortured, sexy, smoking hot, guitar playing boxer. During open mike night at a local pub Sky reads her book of poems, a sexy smoking hot guitar player steps up to the mike, sits atop a small barstool and “a moment later, a deep, impassioned voice filled the room”. The last note of the song ends, the meaning weighs heavy on Sawyers heart and mind. He opens his eyes to applause, his mind on his current life problems, his eyes are drawn to the exotic woman with the C.J. Moon book of poetry. Words being as important to him as boxing, he thinks,”languid, peaceful, wounded .””Enchanting” comes to the forefront. This night he came to let his thoughts and feeling release and flow. They did as words and thoughts of this beautiful , enchanting woman’s fictional story came to life on a stack of napkins at the bar. Sawyer walks into her tattoo shop the next day looking to add words to the maze of lyrics on his torso. Sky had been thinking all day abut the singer from last night and what story he was singing away on stage. She was also thinking of the basket of poetic words that her clients had brought in lately, scraps of paper with beautiful words and prose. She wondered about this person that she had named the P-townPoet, and why he kept leaving passages all over. She finishes with a client and thinks about the words, and about her grand opening in a few weeks. She hears,” Excuse me?”, and the man that haunted her dreams is standing in front of her asking for a tattoo. The attraction to each other is instantaneous, and so begins the relationship. As you read you feel that it natural and is not rushed. But the question is, can they get past his career and his need for one more bout? What will come of them/him if he proceeds with it? Addison tells this story with such emotion and heart, you see and feel what Sky and Sawyer are going through in their lives with their fathers, and her calm life vs his violent career. As you read you are convinced that these two belong together.

    A perfect Addison Cole book

Sweet with Heat is the perfect description for the Addison Cole Seaside Summers series. Within each book is an adorable couple that have so much heat before them yet she manages to keep their private lives hot and clean. There are hints at their private moments but it is kept private. Minimal blushing happens while reading Addison Cole. In Nights at Seaside we get to know Sky and Sawyer. Sky is a character that has been seen in the other books in the series but she has always been a secondary character. This is her time to shine, her time to find love, and her time to tell her story. Sky and Sawyer see each other at a bar and the sparks fly immediately. There is an attraction that no one can deny yet they don’t talk that night. By chance Sawyer comes into Sky’s new tattoo parlor and fate cannot be denied. I love how quick they come together, how fast their relationship grows, and how evident their love for each is. Sometimes a relationship goes too fast but this relationship had to move fast. These two were so meant to be together that a slow relationship growth was out of the question. The Seaside Girls made their position on the relationship known. They accepted Sawyer into their family without question. There was no doubt that Sawyer would be part of their family after the first bonfire on the beach. The Seaside guys were just as welcoming. Right away Sawyer was taken into their confidence and brought into their lives. I love the scene by the pool with the guys and girls and their jinx’s towards Theresa. Everything in this story is wonderful. The characters, the setting, and the story is exactly what I look forward to when I pick up an Addison Cole book. I recommend picking up your own copy ASAP.

    Sky and Sawyer

The P-town poet is making Sky feel all sorts of emotion. Little does she know that she is about to meet and fall in love with him. Sawyer is in a rough life stage with an ailing parent and health issues. This story is one of choices, kindness and HEAs. The narrator is not as exciting as she could be BUT the story is one you don’t want to miss.....no matter how you read/listen to it.

    Wondful

The first time Sky sees Sawyer is at bar while he is on stage performing. The next time Sky comes to see Sawyer is when he comes into her tattoo studio. Sky instantly falls for him. When she comes to find out he is a boxer she is torn. This is another wonderful and sweet story from Addison Cole.
