    Making it work

Nix was a short read, but it didn't lack anything in the story department! It was a feel good story in the end, about two people, two shifters, who shouldn't work, but they find a way for it to work because of the feelings they have for each other

Another great installment to my favorite MC series

Another great installment to my favorite MC series. A were-wolf and deer-shifter? I thought the bear and the bunny from Horse were a creative paring. Only Candace Blevins could make this work. I love Nix and that like her other MC alpha-heroes his unapologetic about who is and that Tippy takes her time and is very deliberate in what she can offer - even though he's totally hot and she's really into him. It was great to have Pixie show up and get a little more of her story. I'm not a fan of f-f, so that didn't work for me, but it didn't detract either. The Bash Trilogy is still my favorite from the RTMC books, so it was fun to see Angelica and Bash put in an appearance.

    5 Star Nix

The MC’s new gun store needs someone to teach rifle classes, and Nix was a Special Forces sniper in the military. Tippy’s a shooter as well and won a silver medal at the Olympics, but she’s changed her name and tries to stay out of the limelight. Werewolves are fiercely monogamous and deer have trouble understanding the concept of exclusivity and then there’s the fact that wolves eat deer in the wild. Can Nix and Tippy find a happily ever after? This novella is a sweet but passionate and pretty darn cute. The characters are strong and thoroughly charming in their own unique way as they navigate everything that stands in the way of their relationship. The chemistry is undeniable and sizzles with lots electrical chemistry that singes readers with its intensity and the intimate scenes are blazing hot, so while this romance is on the short side, it fulfills all readers expectations of what they enjoy from the ‘Rolling Thunder MC’ members.
