    A good overview of events

This book gives a good overview of the battle, I was hoping for a more front lines account of the day to day fight from the soldiers perspective, but it was mostly a review of things from a headquarters view, except for the last chapter where you had some first hand account of a small encounter. I have read books about the American forces involved in Afghanistan and those told more of the life or death struggle during each battle, as to how hard our soldiers actually fought during operation medusa. I learned a few things from this book, but was lacking a bit of personal feel.

    No Lack of Courage

Operation Medusa, Afghanistan A real eye opener as to what our troops faced during the war against terrorism in Afghanistan.
