    A suspenseful romance

A suspenseful romance, it is regrettable that No Longer Alone did not fulfill its potential. There were dynamic characters and a really good story line, but the author seemed to fill the gaps with a whole lot of bedroom scenes that were out of place, given Nora's history. Erik was gruff and rather unpleasant to start with, although he redeemed himself as the book wound to a close. Nora was obviously running scared, but given the circumstances I found it impossible that she would readily fall into bed with Erik within a couple of days. Nora's relationship with Oscar was sweet and I think that of all the characters in the book, he was the cutest. I believe that this book could have real potential if the author would consider a rewrite at some stage in the future. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

    An OK read!

Nora Francis was a school teacher on the run from her possessive ex-boyfriend (Tim), who was bipolar and stalked her continuously. She felt threatened and left her home driving to Michigan to accept a position as a nanny for four year old Oscar. Erik was a well-known professional football player, now out due to knee injuries. He's also is the uncle of Oscar, who mother died in a car accident. Erik was in need of help and seeking a housekeeper and nanny for his nephew. The story was well written with two lost heart wanting more than what life had dealt them. It was filled with secrets, insta-lust and a HEA. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review."

Fast Paced Love at First Sight

No Longer Alone is the second book by Susan Vaughn that I have read and reviewed. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to others. I felt the author did a good job of creating well developed characters. The storyline was fast paced and touched upon a subject that is all to prevalent in our society; abusive relationships. This story proves that it is possible to escape and find that "Happily Ever After" "I received this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily reviewed this book and this is my honest review."
