    No Strings Attached

This is a book that suprises you with its in-depth perspective on self-image and learning to stand up for what you want. Leah learns to believe in herself and to see herself as a strong independent person, not as someone else's twisted view of her. Jagger learns to believe in himself emotionally as well.

    String Me Along

"No Strings Attached" is so much more than a romantic romp. Leah is a 38 year old interior designer with a DIY-type TV show. She's also a single mom who rarely dates so she hires an escort for her 20th class reunion. Jagger Holiday is not just a pretty face, he's also a talented photographer but his work is so edgy and artsy it's not considered mainstream enough to sell. Thus he continues as a paid "escort" in hopes of earning enough to open his own gallery. Leah and Jagger have off-the-chart chemistry from the get-go but there are lots of bumps in the road ahead of them. Leah's character was somewhat disappointing. She's supposed to be a strong woman but she allows her good-for-nothing ex to bad mouth her in public and slinks away with her head bowed as if she has done something wrong? It doesn't ring true. But, I still liked the book and plan to read the rest of the series. BTW, this book was described as a standalone but if it is, it barely is.
