    Nobody's Hero

I liked this so much better than the first book. I'm glad I decided to read 1 more in the series. This book was sexy and fun and touching by turns.

    Emotional and beyond

The world of BDSM and the deep personal drama that leads to it are so well researched and written that, after reading this (as well as the others of this series), it actually takes a couple of hours (if not more) to breathe and recover from the emotions lived through with the protagonists. As indicated in the 'advisory notes' before the story begins, there are 'triggers' to eventual personal traumas that may have been undergone by the reader, so this would be well to keep in mind, as the writer conveys these so well that even someone who has NOT been through anything so traumatic actually feels the experience.
