Loved the unique setting and characters

Another unique and wonderful love story from Katy Regnery that had emotion and heart, and left me truly believing in happy ever afters. This is the second story in the Odds Are Good series and I’m really enjoying how the author has put together stories with some unusual aspects. The settings, circumstances, and characters all have a uniqueness about them that are woven into a story that delivers an emotional punch without being too angsty, something that I really enjoy. Both Cody and Juliet were written so well. The initial concerns that Cody had about Juliet learning about his disability and seeing how that all played out set the stage for me with these two. The emotion behind Cody’s vulnerability and then Juliet’s acceptance could easily be felt in the words on the page. I also loved the fact that these two just sort of fell into their relationship and just went with where their feelings took them. I’m not a big fan of a lot of angst, and I loved these two even more as they worked through understanding their emotions and then trying to figure out what that meant long term. As I already mentioned, I am truly loving the uniqueness of the stories in this series. It was clear that Katy Regnery did her homework when it came to Alaska as well as all the aspect surrounding the sled dogs and the sport itself, and I loved watching Cody and Juliet’s relationship build from their mutual respect of the dogs, and then a respect for the sport as they trained and competed. There weren’t many supporting characters, but the ones that were in the book added so much to the story. I just loved Jonas and Rita and how protective and supportive they were of Cody. Juliet’s family was great and I loved how welcoming they were to Cody. Juliet’s friend Silvi I could have done without – even though she was the one to show Juliet the ad in the paper I was not happy with most of her advice, especially at the end! And don't even get me started on Glenn... This was another great story from Katie Regnery that was easy to read but also packed an emotional punch. I would definitely recommend checking this one out. I received an advance reader copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

I'll go to Alaska any day!

Nome-o Seeks Juliet is a journey you don't want to miss! This wonderful tale of taking chances, both on love and in life, will have you cheering. Filled with awkward moments that will pull at your heart strings, and characters that you'll fall in love with. I guarantee you won't want to put this book down. Plenty of steamy romance, laughter and tears makes this my new favorite in the Odds-Are-Good series. I always know that if Katy Regnery is the author, I'll be able to dive right into the story, only to be sad that it's over too soon, and counting the days until the next book releases.

    Checks all the boxes

I love this series. The stories are standalone connected by a magazine called Odds Are Good with classifieds and singles ads. Cody, a veteran living a very solitary life in Nome, Alaska, placed an ad looking for a partner for a coed dog sled race. “NOME-O SEEKS JULIET” and Juliet replies. “This is crazy,” I tell her. She wipes away her tears, nodding at me with a blossoming smile. “Yes. It’s crazy. Be crazy with me.” I loved everything about this book. The sexy, sweet romance, the main characters and the stories of their past, the cute ad that brought them together, and the awesome dogs! But I was completely taken by surprise by my emotional reactions to the story. One minute I’m swooning over sweet romance and the next I’m over here bawling on my book! “One minute I was whole, the next…I wasn’t. The me I knew was…gone.” “Not gone,” I whisper. “Just…broken.” Nome-O Seeks Juliet checked all the boxes for me. It gave me ‘all the feels’ and left me with a bit of a book hangover but a big smile on my face. -5 Stars!-

    A thrill of the heart.

Another sad love song turns into an unforgettable romance. Regnery has done it again. Nome-o Seeks Juliet is a diamond in the rough, waiting to be explored. Cody and Juliet are as different individually as they are perfect for each other. He's faced down dangerous situations, heartbreaking losses and personal tragedies. She's looking to have an adventure. Adventure comes with some cuddleworthy heartbreakers, terrifying truths and a surprising turn of events that will inspire the risk taker in your soul. Take a chance on this thrill of the heart. You won't be disappointed.

Love, snow and huskies. What more can you ask for?

Nome-O Seeks Juliet by Katy Regnery was a wonderful, sweet, slightly angsty story that made me feel all the feels. A vet student and a dog sledder make for a tale with a difference. So much happening. Cody Garrison never expected to find love after he was honorably discharged from the Marines at the age of 21, but more than a decade later when Juliet Sanderson answers his ad for a female assistant for the Qimmiq 200 dog sled race, his world is soon turned upside-down. Friendship, lust and the undying love of canines makes this a unique story. Set in the beautiful, but sometimes harsh Alaskan landscape this story will have you smiling, and crying in equal measure. I truly loved this book and wished it could have gone on for longer. This is a definite One-Clicker whether you’re new to Ms Regnery or a long time fan.
