    Not Quite a Wife

Different style to Stephanie Laurens. Interesting all the same. This genre would be difficult to write well and research into history of the period would need to be in depth, I would imagine. I like the idea of learning history whilst enjoying a good story.

    Enjoyable Read

Nice novel to while away some summer reading time. Good character development resulting in believable storyline. This was first book I have read by this author and would certainly read others. Recommended for an easy read.

    Not quite a wife

Enjoyable interplay of many characters. Fast flowing. Heroine delightfully complex and contradictory in her view of life. A window into Regency social issues.
