    Not Quite a Wife

Different style to Stephanie Laurens. Interesting all the same. This genre would be difficult to write well and research into history of the period would need to be in depth, I would imagine. I like the idea of learning history whilst enjoying a good story.

    Enjoyable Read

Nice novel to while away some summer reading time. Good character development resulting in believable storyline. This was first book I have read by this author and would certainly read others. Recommended for an easy read.

    Fabulous

Another wonderful, lushly detailed, completely engaging story in an engrossing series, just can't get enough of MJP's books...The level of detail in her characters, particularly their emotional state is deeply empathetic. The fine background detail of their lives is reminiscent of Georgette Heyer, completely wrapping you up in their lives...This book was deeply satisfying because it finally addresses James Kirkland's story...a large part of the lives of others but always loof and alone...Very Happy Jan :)
