    Amazing

Amazing. So much diversity and all in different ways. I'm excited to read the next book in the series!

    Cute queer superheroes

Although the book has a slow start, once you get into it you can't put it down!

    Weird Errors?

This story was adorable, original, diverse, and super creative! The only things that bothered me were the errors. I don't know if they're just on the ereader versions of the ebook, but I noticed the font would change in the middle of a page, or the Vietnamese words were chopped off because the letters with specific accents weren't supported (Cha with the accent thing that I can't type became Ch), or the part where Smasher is misspelled as Shocker. Some of the punctuation is incorrect, and the author seemed unsure of how she was going to spell certain words, as they changed (newsholo, news holo, news-holo) but again, it may only be like this in the ebook format. Don't let that stop you from reading it! It's still an awesome story, just a pain on certain devices.

    Peppy YA superhero tale

The story takes a while to get going but the characters are vivid and the world takes shape nicely. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series!

    Such a fun read!

Actual Rating - 4.5 What a fun and entertainig read! I love that this wasn't your typical superhero story. In fact, the main character isn't technically a superhero at all! The story was fun, fast paced, and a little silly which made for a great reading experience. While there were some predictable elements, it was still such a fun story to read that it didn't matter. Also props to the author for having all these diverse characters without making it feel awkward. They fit in the story perfectly and naturally, as they should always be! There were no issues along the lines of "well LGBTQIA+ can't be superheroes" and it just made me so happy to have all these characters included in every aspect of a greta story. This is where I hope to see LGBTQIA+ books get to in any new publications. I found the romance to be especially adorable. It made me remember what it was like to get your first crush when I was younger and I found myself getting nervous and excited when our main character did. Even the side characters were written with so much detail that you felt like you knew them. It was just a great reading experience all around.
