    Nothing Else Matters

This book was a great ending to a fabulous series. You do need to read the books in order though, although I didn't find this hard to do because I wanted to read them all anyway. Alexandre is a concert violinist with a history of child abuse when he was young that has led him to develop multiple personalities. One of these is a rock musician. Georgie is also a musician (a pianist) who has been classically trained but turns to rock. Their story is touching and had me in tears more than once as I tried to read it as fast as possible. I would highly recommend this book.

    Fantastic!

Man I cannot get enough of these characters. I really hope Blair continues the story of Can and Georgie in her next book about Flicka. Never stop.

    The colours of music

Nothing Else Matters is the last book in the Xan/Georgie series which started with Every Breath You Take, then continued with Wild Thing and Lay Your Hands on Me. It is a VERY satisfying conclusion to the tangled relationship between Georgie (she of the difficult past and sword hanging over her head) and Alexandre or Alex or Xan, or all three rolled into one! Alexandre's three personalities certainly make for an interesting relationship with Georgie never knowing how safe she is (but not because of Alex X 3) or even when she is going to get on with her studies. Over four books, it has been very easy to like the characters, both the main characters, the band members and their offsiders. I adore Boris and wish I had one of him. I have a lot of respect for Adrien - read the four books and you'll see why. And I love the view into the imaginary "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" (apologies to Robin Leach). I really liked Tryp and Elfie's book and I'm looking forward to Cadell's.

    brillant conclusion to masterful series

Nothing Else Matters is a beautifully outstanding conclusion to this masterfully written series that follows the tumultuous journey of Xan and Georgie. There is nothing easy or calm about any step throughout this astounding series. Their pain will become your own and their heartache will threaten to overtake all of your senses. When you emerge at the end, you will not be the same, but you will be so much better for it. This is truly an inspiring and magnificent work of art! Georgie finds her worst fears finally coming true. She is staring at her worst nightmare in its cold, dark eyes, and she finds herself somewhat calm knowing that she has tried to do all she can to right a terrible wrong. Her last wish at keeping Xan safe has been gratefully fulfilled, and she can’t ask for anything else. Her dreams and wishes never mattered, and she won’t let them interfere now. All she ask is that no one will walk into the crosshairs to try and save her. She isn’t worth saving, and she can’t live with the blood of another on her hands. Will the end come on the wings of swift justice or will it tarry long enough to cause one more last complication? Watching Xan and Georgie slowly but surely discover the courage, the power, and the motivation to reclaim their life is beyond anything that I could have ever imagined. These astounding characters will shred your heart and encourage your soul as you watch their individual struggles and their inspiring journey to pull the other from their own quicksand while trying to survive in a world filled with sharp pain, unforgiving suffering, and harsh judgment. Nothing worth accomplishing is ever easy or pain-free. When survival and happiness are on the line, only a miracle and perhaps an angel can pull you back from the edge of darkness and begin to mend a fractured soul. Blair Babylon has proven that without a doubt she has the literary mastery and the incredible heart to write a story that will touch even the darkest recesses of the soul while shattering any literary boundaries that exist in your mind. After reading this marvelous story, I am confident that there is absolutely nothing that she can’t accomplish on paper. Her genius is a breathtakingly extraordinary gift to experience, and I hope that no one misses out on it! This is a journey that should be read and cherished by all who understand the power and the importance of the written word.

    I want more!

I've been reading all of the Billionaires in Disguise books. I was so excited to finally know all the answers, but at the same time I was sad to see it all end. Georgie and Xan are such a great couple! I couldn't wait to get started reading this story! I like that their love is kind of messy. Sometimes though I want to give Georgie a good lecture :), don't want to spill what I would say. No spoilers from me! If you've been enjoying the story all along then the enjoyment will continue! If you've never have read the series then it's a definite must read!!
