    Thanks for your feedback!

I loved reading more about Jack and Eli!

Of Hope and Anguish is the second book in the Revolutionaries series. You might be able to read this as a standalone but I highly recommend reading book one, Revolutionary Temptation, so that you get all of the history between Jack and Eli. Book one ended with a very satisfactory HFN (happy for now) and book two picks up soon after. Jack, Eli and *Constance are still spying on the British and everyone is wishing for the war to end soon. Jack and Eli's relationship is tested when a handsome British soldier, Captain Andre, is introduced and Eli must get close to him in order to find out what he's planning. Of Hope and Anguish kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the book. Like the title implies, there's a fair amount of angst between Jack and Eli but there's also a lot of intrigue as Jack, Eli and *Constance work together to see that the British are defeated. I really enjoy a well written historical M/M romance story and Silvia Violet did a great job with this one. Of Hope and Anguish, like Revolutionary Temptation, ends with a HFN, but I think this one definitely gives this impression that there will be more books coming; for one, the war has not yet ended. I would love to read more about the adventures of Jack, Eli and *Constance. *Note: this is definitely an M/M story but the character of Constance plays a very integral part as she is spy that started everything. There is no sexual relationship between Jack, Eli and Constance. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author. ***Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions dot com***
