    Off The Grid - C. J. Box

I enjoyed the Off the Grid. It was well plotted and Nate Romanowski is a believable type of anti-character. Everyone wants to spit in the government's face and he is particularly good at it. It was well plotted, with the inclusion of Joe Picket the game warden. The traveling grizzly bear was a little unbelievable, but still good. The "sort of" agents, who make it hard to tell if they're good or bad, provide tension. And in the end, the jihadists are mostly destroyed - but not completely. A good read and recommended. Any of the Joe Pickett novels are well worth the investment.

    Love Joe Pickett!

High tension drama ensues as game warden Joe Pickett answers the call to help Governor Sheridan Rulon in the Red Desert. Nate Romanowski, outlaw & falconer, is forced to cooperate with government agents and infiltrate a terrorist group n a secret facility in the Red Desert. Joe discovers not only his friend Nate in danger, but his eldest daughter Sheridan has gotten into something dangerous there too. In a lighter note, another county truck assigned to Joe bites the dust keeping his dubious record intact.

    Different and interesting story

A timely story about a splinter group trying to better the world of today by attempting to lessen the influences of the electronic world but going too far with their venture especially when "evil" forces enter the picture. Another good read authored by C.J. Box.

    Off the Grid

Typical Joe Pickett book always good. This one was a bit far fetched though. What can Joe and Nate get into next?
