  • Sweet with a bit of spicy equals a phenomenal book

Wow. I love Oh, Fudge by Erin Nicholas. What's better than a story by Erin Nicholas? Well two stories by Erin Nicholas. In Oh,Fudge that's exactly what we get. The world of Appleby meets the world of Autre. In Oh, Fudge we get the Hotcakes series mixed in with Boys of the Bayou series. To me that equals a recipe of sweetness with spicy added. Paige is a friend of Tori's from book one in the Boys of the Bayou series. Mitch is a cousin of Josh's. Therefore they were destined to meet. Mitch brings out a side of Paige that is more relaxed and open. The chemistry they have is undeniable. From the moment Paige reunites with Mitch in Oh, Fudge things heat up. Oh and we get more Ellie from Boys of the Bayou. Ellie just makes me laugh. She's the best. I really love the journey we as readers get to take with Paige and Mitch. Their journey is phenomenal. Their struggles are real and relatable. I love that they would do anything to be together. I really felt as if I were a part of their story not just reading it. I must admit I wasn't too fond of Paige's family. I loved everything about Oh, Fudge. I love Mitch and Paige. They are my favorite couple in this series thus far. I found myself laughing and having some serious heart swooning moments. I was captivated from page one and didn't want the book to end. The words danced off the pages and into my heart forever. I just love the magic Erin Nicholas creates with her stories. Definitely a must read for every romance lover. I can't wait for the next book in Paige and Mitch's story.

  • What a perfectly & wonderfully sexy mash-up

What perfectly wonderful mash-up for two amazing book series – Boys of the Bayou and Hot Cakes. Paige and Mitch are both known for their hook-ups with no commitment. When they meet in Appleby one night, this is the perfect hook-up since Mitch was heading back to Louisiana the next day. What Paige isn’t prepared for is that this hot, sexy Cajun doesn’t leave her mind after they hot sexy night together. Mitch finds himself in the same predicament so when the opportunity presents itself, he jumps on the chance to visit Paige again. Now, Paige hates that everyone in town is in everyone else’s business and they all seem to think she should be married. Having Mitch show up while she is teaching a yoga class presents a new challenge, how does she make sure her family doesn’t latch on to him as a new suitor? But when people in town need help with repairs, the last thing she expects is for Mitch to jump in and help. Oh boy, he just got even more irresistible. Now, this journey isn’t over for Paige and Mitch and I’m so excited to see what happens when Paige ventures south to see Mitch. I had fun reading this story.

  • Sweet and Spicy!

When Boys of the Bayou meet Hotcakes things get sweet and spicy! Mitch is the cousin of the Boys of the Bayou and just as sexy with his accent and rugged good looks. He helps out in the Bayou with the bus, fixing anything which needs fixing, and staying in the background of it all which is just the way he likes it. He loves his loud, crazy family but he doesn’t want to be the star of the show. Paige teaches yoga and adopts cats like it is going out of style, all due to her family’s constant nagging about her getting married. They think her life goal should be marriage and kids but Paige has other goals in mind, none of which involve accepting any of the proposals from the men in town. When Paige and Mitch met 6 months ago, it was lust at first sight. They spent a hot night together and spent the next 6 months texting. Paige thinks it will stay a hot fling but Mitch may have other plans. I cannot wait for their full length novel where we get to head back down to the Bayou!

  • Yum!

This was so entertaining and sexy! I just couldn’t get enough of the sizzling chemistry between Paige Asher and Mitch Landry and boy oh boy...do they bring the sizzle. After meeting six months ago through a friend, and spending a no strings night together, these two seemed to be on the same page. Now after texting for the last six months, Mitch shows up in Appleby Iowa for more of the same, but now he just can’t get enough of Paige. Could this be Love? This is a crossover story that will lead the reader back to the Bayou bringing both of these series together. Will Paige’s Family and friends finally leave her alone for her to make up her own mind and decide what she really wants? Will the heat in the Bayou kick up their sizzle and help these two find their HEA? Eagerly waiting for the next book in the Bayou series!

  • This little read was a pure delight!!

This little read was a pure delight!! Oh, Fudge is a clever, shorter length read that brings together two of my favorite series by this author, Hot Cakes and Boys Of The Bayou. If you have read these series both Paige and Mitch will be familiar to you and if not, well, WHY NOT??!! Listen to me, you need to get on that ASAP. These books are smart, funny, sweet, emotional and steamy. Toss in the allure of small town charm, strong family and friendship ties and a healthy dose of quirkiness and you have yourself characters and places that will steal your heart and make you long to live there (or at least visit as often as you can via new releases). Do keep in mind though that even if this book was super fun and heart melting it will leave you wanting and waiting for this couple's story to continue in the upcoming book 6 of Boys Of The Bayou series. That book, Four Weddings and A Swamp Boat Tour will release in February 2021. I myself can't wait and if you are late to the game, now is the perfect time to get all caught up on these all the feels, make you smile romances. Trust me, you will not be sorry. I'm electing to post a sincere review.
