    Great

Great sweet cozy mystery! Allie McMurphy, fudge maker and innkeeper, has a nasty little habit of discovering dead bodies. In this next installment of the Candy Coated mysteries, the residents of Mckinac Island are gearing up for the Fourth of July Celebration but when the pyrotechnics specialist turns up dead, the mystery of his death and catching the killer has to happen first. Fun read that I definitely recommend.

    Oh say can you fudge

This is a really good read. Just what you want for a lazy summer day, when you want to kick back and relax with a sweet tooth and a mystery. The McMuphy hotel on the historic Mackinac Island are the setting for three grand fourth of july fireworks shows and a who dunit arson killing you have to read it to believe it.

Cute Light 4th of July Cozy Mystery

This is the 3rd book in the series but you do not have to have read the previous two to enjoy the light cozy mystery. The author does a good job of transporting you to Mackinac Island during the 4th of July Holiday. The mystery is OK and the sleuth does not really solve the murder as much as stumble over the killer. I did get tired of having the author describe every outfit and hairstyle, even minor characters in very minor situations. That got old very quick. Enjoy.

    Good writing

Was a good book well written and a neat little series. I'm usually attracted to my mysteries by title many times. Originally i hesitated on this series by the author but it turned out that she was much much better than Tess Gerritsen who was unable to hold my interest level . The amount of blood and gore and pure un@bliterated evil did me in. Idecided to go back to more of a cozy mystery . I live my Kathy Reichs and J D Robb so much. I cant stop.
