So Amazing, it brought me to my knees.

Holy Hotness!!!! Uber Ugly cries! Beautiful every lasting love. I just spent the day with the most beautiful love story. I have a new favorite go to book when I need to remember what true love can be. I have to be honest, I didn't think this series would be my "cup of tea." I am happy to say that I was so wrong. The author takes a topic that always made me blush and made it beautiful. This story takes beauty to an all new level. Master Alex is feeling lost. He is a little out of sorts. The others can see it. He knows something is missing. But what? Jamie just can't make a relationship work. His latest tempt at happily ever after has just walked away. His answer is a tattoo. He needs the pain. It is a shame he doesn't see the complete picture. But have no fear Jeremy does. Walking through the doors of Blasphemy changes everything. Under the care of Master Alex, Jamie accepts. Walk through the door with Jamie and discover love. It won't be easy. There will be mistakes. Devotion needs to be shown and accepted. True love is worth everything.

    best in the series IMO

I absolutely loved this book. Alex and Jamie's story was so sweet and beautiful. Both men were lost and searching for something more. Alex knew what he was looking for but he just couldn't find someone to be his HEA. Jamie was feeling lost and he wasn't sure what it was that he was missing. He kept putting the pieces of the puzzle together to find his true self. When he and Alex come together, it's like everything clicks and seeing their journey apart and together was so beautiful. I loved seeing more of Jeremy and Charlie from the Hard Ink series and the rest of the Blasphemy crew. Laura Kaye just made On His Knees my new favorite in this series.

    A great m/m romance

Jamie wastes no time in catching the eye of Master Alex, a sadist with an intimidating reputation around the club. Jamie is clearly a decisive person and he’s eager to learn about BDSM and everything it has to offer. One thing I loved in this book that I’ve seen in the previous books in the series is the exploration of porn and online research. I love the acceptance that porn is healthy and a good way to figure out what you like in a safe environment as well as the realism of researching BDSM. After all it’s the 21st century and there is no reason a character should blindly stumble into BDSM when Google is only a few clicks away. Alex was a harder hero to connect with and I liked Jamie’s easy going nature more. A recent encounter with a submissive who wasn’t into pain as much as she believed has rattled Alex and made him cautious of newbies to the scene. He agrees to give Jamie a tour of Blasphemy but he’s not happy about his immediate attraction to the man. While pain and humiliation is not my thing and a few of the sex scenes were a little too aggressive for my personal tastes, I couldn’t deny how great Jamie and Alex fit together. They have a lot in common in and out of the bedroom, however, their decision to do a non-consent role playing scene on their first night doesn’t seem very responsible or safe. Jamie has no experience with BDSM, pain play, or being with a man and Alex has no way of predicting how Jamie might react to any of that. Gradually working up to the more extremes of a sadomasochism scene might have been the better choice. Of course a misunderstanding throws up obstacles for Jamie and Alex and I loved Jamie’s idea to win back Alex’s trust but I also felt like Alex overreacted to begin with and should have given Jamie a chance to explain himself. As a bonus, there’s a small scene with Jeremy and Charlie from the Hard Ink series and I loved that!
