  • WOW!!

"I own your orgasms, your pain, your pleasure, your hunger . I’ve put my fingers on your heart and felt it beat. It’s mine. I own this body. Every inch of it. Every bone. Every organ . Every drop of blood.” HOLY CRAP! I have never read such a haunting love story. If you thought Rough Edge was mind blowing you haven't read anything yet. On the Edge left me utterly and completely speechless. I have never read a book that was this mind altering. I can barely form a coherent thought, or sentence after finishing this book. Every page only got more intense then the one before it. I am fascinated with every aspect of this series. It's truly astonishing how flawlessly written every installment is. Every plot twist and turn is more mind boggling than the last. I have no idea where the author comes up with this stuff, but I absolutely do NOT want her to stop. It is raw, heart pounding ANGST! I'm totally entranced by Caden and Grayson. I simply just can NOT get enough. They seep into your mind like a additcion, only making you crave more. The emotions they evoke are overwhelming and do NOT stop until they own every single one of your feelings. That ending made me want to throw my phone and scream WTF REPEATEDLY!! It completely slayed me with that cliffhanger. I am on pins and needles for Broken Edge. "I loved him, and turning him into a patient rankled that love. He was mine. We’d made promises . Vows. We were a unit. His secrets were sacrosanct." Grayson will forever be one of the strongest heroines I will ever read. The amount of strength and determination her character possesses is astounding. I can't imagine going through a fraction of what she is and still never wavering. Torn between love and the need to help her husband. Even for a psychiatrist that this is her speciality I don't know how she does it. Caden by no means makes things easy for her but she handles every situation with a calm and calculated grace. “You’re the beating heart of my life. You’re the blood in my veins.” Caden slams into you like a hurricane. You got the good, bad, and ugly sides of him this book. He is absolutely one of the most complex characters I have read to date. Every facet of him more captivating than the last. Caden is the ultimate contradiction. Even split he is precise and aware of his every move. He commands your attention, while dominating your heart. Even in your most frustrated moments you can't turn your feelings off. Caden will bring you on the Edge of darkness. *5 STARS* No scratch that, INFINATE STARS. No amount of stars will ever feel like enough for this book or series. Every minute is expertly written, and devastating to your senses. This is marriage at it's grittiest and I simply can not consume enough.

  • 5 Breathless Stars!

How do I talk about this book without spoilers?! It's quite literally an emotional rollercoaster. A smart, seductive, mind-blowing thriller, but at its heart, a gripping story of love. This second part of The Edge series is riveting. At the end of Rough Edge, Grey is confronted with a fractured Caden. On the Edge gives us their struggle with their new reality. Grey's passionate commitment to her husband is awe inspiring, even when it's difficult for her to do so...especially when it's difficult. And her husband becomes more difficult by the day... I love this book, this whole series. Don't get me wrong, I like hearts and flowers and fluff...but sometimes I want to be pushed to the edge of comfort and away from conventional romance. Thank you to CD Reiss for doing that.

  • A chill you to the bone type of dark romance-

    - and I loved every second of it! For a few seconds after I finished On the Edge, I thought I couldn't breathe. Then I couldn't figure out what the heck I had just read. After that I was left spouting profanities all over the place. Finally, my mind came to an acceptance that Ms. Reiss is a master of words, and that I am completely addicted to this series. You definitely need to start with book 1 - Rough Edge first, as this picks up right after. On the Edge is dark, it's twisted, yet it still makes you root for Caden and Greyson, all while you are guessing what's going to happen next, and then not guessing anywhere close to what is happening. I need the next book like I need my next breath. Please join me on this rollercoaster of emotions, I need more to suffer with me!

  • 5 Stars for On The Edge!!!

"If I could write my love in the sky, it wouldn't be big enough. I'd run out of room. I'd fall out of the air trying to say it all." Greyson and Caden are a love bigger than the sky.... the kind of love that is all consuming, so much so, that if one of them were broken apart that love would remain stronger than ever, maybe different for each broken part but no less consuming! And the other would do whatever it takes.... risk breaking their own self and go to the farthest edge to save the other, to save their all consuming love!! Their love, their war, it all keeps escalating with twists and turns between sanity and madness until it feels like that edge their on is at risk of crumbling to devastation or maybe they'll fall in to perfect completion??? I feel like I'm trying to figure out a thrilling puzzle, one where I have the "EDGE" pieces and know when it's complete it's going to be a masterpiece (the kind of puzzle you want to frame and keep forever) but those beautifully flawed middle pieces are yet to be found or revealed..... Yeah my mind is completely "on the edge" and I'm loving every second of it!!!!

  • HOLY SMOKES!!!

Holy Smokes!!! This series is one of the most intense series I have ever read!! boy, oh boy, does his book have the right title!! I was on the edge the entire time I was reading this installment in Greyson and Caden's journey. OMG!! CD Reiss blew me away with this one. I did not expect any of the events that occurred in this one. Wow!! I knew Greyson and Caden were on a serious journey in trying to overcome the challenges being presented to them in their marriage, but this challenge is above and beyond. What do you do when the challenge comes from within? When the challenge is a struggle that the one you love is trying to battle from within, but continues to pull you into the struggle, because you are the one thing in that person's world that helps to ground the person, but also causes the person some of the deepest and darkest struggles? This is the challenge that Greyson and Caden face. It is a real fight that they are engaged in to try to save their marriage, as well as each other. On the Edge is absolutely brilliant. CD Reiss has done her research for this one. This chapter in the series will leave you stunned and wanting even more than Rough Edge did. If you have not started this series, please do. Wow!! The ride that I am on with Greyson and Caden is not one that I want to get off. I have been ensnared in their web of complication and love since I started reading Rough Edge and On the Edge only has me even more entrapped.
