    Fun and flirty slow burn.

Once Upon a Wild Fling is a sweet and swoony single-dad romance. I’ve really enjoyed the three books in this series, the Hart brothers definitely live up to the Heartbreakers name! And Miles, the baby of the fam, might just be the best of the bunch. He’s such a dedicated, hands-on dad, I just loved that about him. You can hardly blame Roxy for falling for Miles, even as she did everything she could to avoid it...he is definitely a chicken magnet. And with Ben, his little chicken nugget, by his side, no gal could have stood a chance! Neither Roxy nor Miles was really looking for a relationship- Roxy’s fed up with dating the wrong guys and decides to fianlly take things into her own hands, and Miles is focused on his son and his career, so when he proposes the "plus one" arrangement it works out perfectly for them both. Until, well you know, they catch feelings for each other! And then things get complicated and Miles needs a “come to Jesus” moment with his brothers and Roxy needs to maybe listen to her mother every now and then. Because when you care about another person as much as these two cared about each other, dare I say loved each other, you sometimes need a little nudge in the right direction. Once again Ms. Blakely delivers a story full of the fun and flirty banter we’ve come to expect from her, while giving us a delicious slow burn romance that really heats up the pages!

    A Super Flirty Cute Romance!

This is the last book in the Heartbreakers series, and this time we get to know Miles Hart the youngest of the Hart brothers. Miles has a very successful music career when the Heartbreakers broke up. Miles has come home to New York so his son Ben can start Kindergarten. Which is not as easy as he thinks, as he tours the different schools and gets harassed by the women. Roxy decides to be his plus one and keep the sharks at bay. Miles has devoted himself to his son Ben. Ben comes first, but he really likes Roxy they spend a lot of time together. This is a super cute story, I loved it. Miles was a great guy with a wonderful way with him. Unfortunately he becomes tongue tied or says the wrong thing when he finally gets his chance with Roxy. Roxy has given up on relationships but loves Miles and Ben. This is an instant attraction story but because of circumstances they become flirtatious friends. Who finally became Lovers, but how can it become anything more.

    Sexy and Flirtatious

Once Upon a Wild Fling by Lauren Blakely is book three in her Heartbreakers series. This final installment in the Heartbreaker trilogy features Miles Hart and Roxy Sterling. The romance between Miles and Roxy is off-the-charts with their sexy flirtatious banter, sweet romantic moments, and the cute family moments with Ben, Miles' six-year-old son. Like the previous books in the series, this book deals with family: Miles and Ben, Roxy and her brother William (who is also Miles' business manager), and then Roxy and her unborn baby. We also get to see Campbell and Miller, along with their families too. This book was a delight to read and had all the feel good moments along with the slow build-up to the happily ever after. What starts off as a wild fling definitely grows into so much more. Overall, Once Upon a Wild Fling by Lauren Blakely is a romantic comedy that will leave you satisfied. It has just enough romance, humor, and a little bit of drama mixed-in. I would happily recommend this novel and the whole Heartbreakers series. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free from in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

My Favorite Book in the Trilogy!

My favorite book of the trilogy! I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion. So it has already been established that I love these characters based on my high ratings for books one and two, but I loved this book even more. The interaction between Roxy and Miles was amazing, and Ben was the cutest little kid ever. I just loved all the parts with him, of which there were many. I can’t help it that single dad romances are my new weakness/favorite trope. I also enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the previous books, like Mackenzie, Campbell, Miller, etc. The romance was pretty slow burn for most of the book until it wasn’t anymore. The focus of this one was more on friendship, and being a parent. Since Miles has Ben, he can’t rush into anything like most people. And also both of the main characters have some baggage from previous relationships/dating experiences that they are slightly hung up on. I loved Roxy’s job, and all the pets we got to see in the book. I haven’t read anything by Lauren in years (I’m really not sure why), but this trilogy made me want to go back and read all her backlist titles, and also devour anything new she comes out with. I highly recommend this trilogy if you like rock stars, contemporary romance, single parents, cute love stories, etc. I am so happy I got the chance to read and review these books, and I can’t wait to push them onto people looking for romance recommendations!

    RomCom Perfection!

I'm a total Heartbreakers groupie!! This book was full of my personal kryptonite. Sexy, single dad? Check. Heroine who is the sister of hero's friend? Check. Adorable kid? Check. I couldn't stop smiling and swooning while reading this book. I loved it from start to finish-and didn't want to see it end. Roxy was such a fun character for me. I think she had such a unique story to tell and I love how the Author told it. She's smart, sassy and determined. Not to mention, she's strong and determined to march to the beat of her own drum to get things done. I absolutely loved her. I adored watching her interact with Miles, too. Life threw her a curveball and I enjoyed seeing how she handled it. Miles. Oh. My. Miles. Yes, he's mine. He is such an amazing book boyfriend. Sexy, funny, sweet and did I mention sexy? I'd love to be on the receiving end of some texts from Miles. He had my heart from the start. He's such a nice guy, and with that sexy streak? He's definitely a chicken magnet...and I just loved him. I have to mention Ben. Some Authors mention that a character has a child and then they're kind of an afterthought. That's not the case here. I love how Ben interacts with both Miles and Roxy-and how he explains things in the way that only a child can. He was adorable and I loved him. So I love the first kiss couples share. I wait anxiously for it, truly. The first kiss in this book? Oh my! So hot and sexy I was fanning myself while I read it. The connection these two have is so tangible. I enjoyed watching them flirt and fall for one another. It felt so completely natural. Do they have hot sex? Absolutely. But what they have outside the bedroom is just as important and I loved seeing them navigate what a relationship would be like. The banter between these two? Perfection. I love how they flirt and talk to one another. Like I said, I wouldn't mind being on the receiving end of some texts from Miles. I fully believed everything these two said to each other-both in words and actions. The supporting characters here are fantastic. It was great to catch up with the characters from the previous books (if you haven't read the others in the series you can still enjoy this. It is a standalone!). I have to admit the relationship between Roxy and her Mom was portrayed so perfectly and I think it's one everyone will be able to relate to-I know I did. The pacing here was perfect. The plot was one I didn't see coming and I really enjoyed it. I truly didn't want to see this book end but I know this is a series I'll come back and reread over and over, so this wasn't a goodbye, it was a see you soon. I absolutely loved this book, and series. It's romcom perfection! I laughed, smiled and swooned my way through it. I will absolutely reread this over and over. I highly recommend this book and this series.
