One boy missing is a gripping read.

This novel was a very enjoyable and easy to read. A gripping story about a missing boy and the frustrations of a rural detective trying to solve a very perplexing mystery. Very well written and so evocative of the Australian rural landscape and the complex people who live there.

    Unputdownable

I really enjoyed this very evocative and gripping story - not since Rebus have we had a detective with such heart and complexity. The unfolding mystery was complex and detailed, and I appreciated the less than neat conclusion. The Australian setting was true to life and not clichéd which I appreciated. A terrific, unputdownable read!
