    Too funny for words

I'm only about 1/5th through this book, I'm dying. This is hilarious! Anyone whose grown up in any non-wasp family couldn't help but identify with at least ten stupid stupidities on every page. (Italian, Indian, what's the diff? Aren't they right next to each other?) Cutting this short. Back to my book.

    Funny, human, lovely

A very enjoyable read ! I love the way her relationship with her parents is woven through, and the insights about her relationship with her body.

    Depressing and dismal

Thought this book was terrible, didn't even get half way. There was no humour - just depressing insights into the racism and body issues this woman has. Glad I got my money back for it
