    Fantastic

This is the first book in the new Shaughnessy Brothers spin off series and it is fantastic!! This series surrounds the members of Riley Shaughnessy's band. This is Matt Reed's story and it is jam packed with all the emotion I've come to expect from a Samantha Chase story. Matt has put all he has into a Broadway show that flops right out of the gate. To control the media blow back for the band Matt returns to his hometown. A place no one would ever think to look for him. Coming face to face with Vivienne Forrester has his world spinning. He's sure the next couple of months will be the ride of his life if she's anywhere near. An awesome book and one I highly recommend.

    Love Matt Reed

I enjoyed this book. To me, it wasn't my favorite by her but I still found it enjoyable and well worth the read. I like how Matt and Vivianne's story flowed and everything that came with it. This wasn't a "I can't put this book down" read but I did want to know what happened between them. Samantha is a go to author for me and this is another book by her I would recommend. Her writing just makes me happy. If you're wanting a read without the roller coaster ride then this book, or any of her books, are the way to go. ENJOY!

    New series with familiar characters

Favorite Quotes: I think if we ignore that night, that kiss, then we’re both denying a part of who we are. I’ve had pedicures before, and I’ve had milk shakes. Just never at the same time. And it’s glorious. My Review: One More Kiss is a stand-alone adult romance that kicks off a new series with familiar characters we already know and have grown to love from Ms. Chase’s last series - double win. The plot felt a bit slow to develop as the majority of the third person narrative consists of the inner musings of the main protagonists as they tackle and work through their personal issues and inner turmoil while their surprise relationship slowly blooms. And their issues were rather large and looming. Matt was a burned out celebrity currently in career crisis and hiding out from the media. His identity and ego were trashed and thrashed and he was a total mess - inside and out. Matt was my favorite character in this story; his family history and personal evolution squeezed my heart. Vivienne was a tightly regimented and well-organized control freak with major OCD tendencies. She was restructuring her job while also changing residences and moving into her brother’s guesthouse. Vivienne was an extremely lucky girl; I was consumed with jealousy as she lived in a new upscale home with every possible convenience, paid no rent, had a handsome and sexy rock-star for a neighbor, and worked from home. I am chartreuse with envy!

One More Kiss blew me away.

I have an affliction for which there is no cure. It leaves me perpetually tongue - tied, emotionally spent yet always yearning for more. I'm addicted to romance. One of the worst offenders for my addiction is Samantha Chase. One More Kiss is a great example of why. She knows what strings to pull and what buttons to push to create poetry. Vivienne and Matt are by no means perfect, but they are perfect for each other. As a series fanatic, I've read my share of spin - offs. Some fell flat and others have soared. One More Kiss blew me away while stealing my heart in the process.

Fantastic start to this new series!!

When starting a Samantha Chase book, I always expect it to tug at my heartstrings, but One More Kiss took me on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster I wasn't expecting!! In this book we catch up with Matt, who has had a run of bad luck on his solo career, and looking to get away. He made me want to just cuddle him and tell him everything will work out. Vivienne was absolutely perfect for him. She helped him heal, and while doing that exposed him to different interests to take his mind off of the stress he was dealing with. This was a fantastic read, and I don't think I've ever seen such a happy HEA. Samantha Chase pulled it all together, and will have you crying happy tears by the time you finish this read. I would definitely recommend reading this!!
