    One More Moment

This was an absolute delight! Charlotte Clark is waiting for coffee behind a disheveled looking man who is grumbling and when he gets to the front of the line and orders he realizes he forgot his wallet. She offers to pay for his coffee when she orders his and he is angry and dismayed and follows her out of the coffee shop. Julian Grayson has never gotten anything before without someone asking for something in return. He is insistent she wants something. Charlotte is convinced he is homeless and just wants to help. He is actually a rock star who has been running from his life for the past 3 months. What follows is a remarkable love story that renews our faith in others. Charity given for the sake of just a good deed with nothing expected in return is the best thing and we really do reap what we sow. This is the end of this series and since I have not read the rest of the series I was not lost. I did read several of the Shaughnessy books and loved those. I think it is time to go back and finish that series and find the rest of this one. **Received this ARC for review from the publisher via NetGalley**

    Loved

LOVED this!! When I say this story will grab you right from the start believe it! Then there's Julian and Charlotte. These characters were so fun they just made me smile. I enjoyed how they meet and as time goes by you can just feel the passion between them. Recently Julian has been disillusioned by the events in his life but Charlotte is the ray of sunshine he's needed. Her positive outlook and giving nature fills him with hope. He soon finds himself questioning all his life decisions. It takes his bandmates and Charlotte to get him to see all the wonder life is putting right in front of him if he will just take the chance. This one needs to go on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

    Julian and Charlotte's story

This was a good read for me! I love finding a new author who can grab my attention from the start! The writing flowed well, and I thought the characters were fully developed. I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but that didn't affect the flow of the story. It was hard for me to like Julian for a while. I felt like he was throwing himself a never ending pity party, and he didn't want anyone to point out that he was doing it to himself. It takes Julian A LONG time to come to terms with everything that happened to him, and Charlotte gets dumped on in the mean time. I liked Charlotte, I thought she was a good h. She knew when to push and when to walk away. The ending was perfect for these characters. I will definitely be looking for more from this author! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

    a good read

I’ve been wanting to read Julian’s story for a while now. Julian, the drummer of Shaughnessy, is avoiding - recognition from fans and playing music again with his band. We know from the previous books that he was in a toxic on again, off again relationship with the manipulative Dena who was after fame and money. The prologue in the book of his interaction with Dena is priceless. I always love a damaged bad boy rockstar and Julian is definitely that. I enjoyed watching him find his way. Charlotte is an interesting character. She was inspired by her family history to become a vocational rehabilitation advisor - a fancy way of saying she helps people who are homeless, out of rehab, or just release from jail find jobs. I love how kind-hearted she was and how much she wants to help people, but she was quick to make assumptions that Julian is homeless and without a job. She immediately goes into stealth mode trying to help him. While I liked Charlotte, that was the one thing that annoyed me - making quick assumptions based off appearances (and later because Julian says he’s in between jobs and also diving right into to help someone who doesn’t need or want help. It was fun to read how the two of them started their relationship and how they both helped each other on the way to self discovery. It was also great to see the band members and their wives from the other books. One More Moment is a great conclusion to the series. I received this book as an ARC through NetGalley and I voluntarily leave this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

    Julian and Charlotte

Another book from Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run Series, this time Julian the band's drummer finds love again. Julian has a few rough months behind him after leaving his cheating fiancee at the alter he takes a break and after coming home his attention is captivated by social worker Charlotte. But he is making the same mistakes all over again and is not trying to forget the past and suddenly for Charlotte love is not enough. So this is the first book from the series and I don't know the previous stories but I was not very impressed. I liked the Charlotte she was very likable kindhearted wanted to help everyone. The one that I had a problem with was Julian he acted like the worst crime was done to him, he knew that his fiance had cheated on him constantly and still wanted to marry her and was then repulsed by her action. He didn't know how to talk, didn't wanted to listen. He had for me a really stupid reason not to go and play with the band anymore. SPOILER And what I was surprised a little bit negatively that Charlotte had, in the end, quit her job and went on a long vacation. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
