    One Night With Her Bachelor

Having read all of the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, One Night With Her Bachelor is a wonderful finale to the series. Having said that, it can be read as a stand alone. All of the books in this series are happening simultaneously (which I love!), so the reader is getting different views of what is happening. There is not a lot of overlap of characters, with the exception of Lily who appears in all of the books, so you will never be lost or wondering about other story lines. I think this was a really fun way for this series to be. In One Night With Her Bachelor, Molly just wants to feel like a woman. It's been so long. She has a lot of other hats she wears and for once is looking for something for herself. When the unthinkable happens though, she can't think of herself any more. Molly is independent and strong, and has a difficult time accepting help from anyone...but the community pulls together to help her. Gabe is a loner, living a very reclusive life. He is suffering too - the after effects of war and death. But Molly makes him feel and he wants to help her, in his own silent way. The attraction is definitely there, but have both had big crisis's in their lives that has taken them on unexpected paths. I really like these two characters. Kat writes a good flowing story in One Night With Her Bachelor, and I liked how the growth of their characters also allowed the relationship between them to grow. I liked that they had a bit of a history between them via Molly's brother, so they were not strangers. I think this helped move their relationship forward and made Molly and Gabe realistic. Their issues and how they deal with them make them believable. It is not an easy path for either of them, and I liked how they slowly became closer. I also really liked the strong sense of community Kat gives in One Night With Her Bachelor - it felt like a good place to be. With some family dynamics thrown in (just like real life!) and Molly's son Josh as a strong secondary character, I really enjoyed One Night With Her Bachelor. Josh's situation is a strong part of the plot, and I liked how everything was woven together, giving the story a lot of dimension. Emotional and at the right times entertaining, I'd recommend One Night With Her Bachelor to any romance reader.

    Fantastic

Fantastic read!! The only bad thing about this one is that I think it should have been published as the first in the series rather than last. Loved the connection between the H/h and how they each brought the best out in each other. I definitely recommend this one to everyone.

    Emotional, Funny, & Steamy Read

Kat Latham delivers with this book. This story is emotional, funny, and steamy. You will be hooked from the beginning. This an enjoyable and entertaining read. "One Night with Her Bachelor" by Kat Latham is book number six in the "Montana Born Bachelor Auction" series. This is Molly Dekker and Gabriel "Gabe" Morales story. Scott, Molly's brother, and Gabe were best friends. Scott was killed in a military helicopter accident. Gabe was injured too and is now living off the grid in a mountain cabin. Molly wants to feel like a woman again not a mom, not a kindergartern teacher, not an ex-wife, and definitely not NICE. Molly has had a crush on Gabe since she was fifteen. She is thinking that maybe Gabe can help her feel like a woman again. Then Molly's life changes and her wanting to feel like a woman again are not that important any longer. Molly's load that she is carrying just seems to get heavier and heavier. She feels like she is about at the end of her rope. Gabe is going through his own struggles too. There is definitely chemistry between Molly and Gabe. Will they allow all these things that they are struggling with to prevent them from finding happiness and true love? This was a great story of how people need to be able to accept help and live life to the fullest no matter what life throws at them. I enjoyed watching Molly and Gabe's relationship grow and change. Kat Latham did a wonderful job of incorporating all the different emotions in Molly and Gabe's story. FYI, includes mature content.

    excellent book!

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that we got to find out the story of Molly Dekker and her son Josh who were the recipients of the money raised in the bachelor auction. Although it starts off on an amusing note as Molly had decided to go into the woods to get what she wants for herself, it quickly evolves into a more dramatic story with depth. We learn the details of the accident that has disabled Josh and in the process, also the demons that haunt Gabriel. I loved Molly's strength of character throughout this book. She knows what she wants from life and is willing to fight for it.

Sweet hero makes this a lovely romance

This last romantic novella in the Bachelor Auction series (easily read as a standalone) is the story of Molly and Gabriel. Gabriel is a reclusive wounded ex-soldier, living in an isolated cabin in the woods. When he has a hand in rescuing Molly's injured son Josh, it creates a new bond between them, one that already existed from childhood but now goes deeper. Coerced into being one of the bachelors at the auction to raise money for Josh's care, he ends up with the one woman he can't resist - Molly. But he's hiding a painful secret and when the truth comes out will it strengthen their bond or push them apart for good? I really enjoyed this story. I've always loved Kat's writing so I had high expectations for this one and I wasn't disappointed. She created a very empathetic hero. Gabriel is wounded (in body and spirit) and hides himself away from the rest of the world, preferring to nurse his wounds in silence. But Molly gets to him - her courage, her laughter, her smile and he can't help but realize that continuing to hide is not what he wants for his future. Molly is a strong female character, a single mom, trying to do the best for her son. She is embarrassed that she can't do it all on her own and needs financial assistance, but is learning that asking for help and receiving it is okay. And when Gabriel looks at her, she knows he sees the real woman inside. The sexual attraction between them sizzles and leads to some emotional and steamy love scenes. This whole bachelor series has been a delight to read and this makes a fitting end. It was a lovely story. 4 stars.
