    Contemporary Christmas Romance

Heartbreaker Bay is filled with characters I would love to have as friends AND finding out more about Rory and Max was a perfect way for me to spend the evening last night. Carl, Max’s Doberman, added to the fun in more ways than one. There is history between Rory and Max that creates tension between them and the original cause is explored as they make their way to Tahoe from San Francisco. What they learn is an eye opener for both of them and opens the door for them to explore the possibilities of a potential relationship between them. I loved reading this sweet short story and look forward to reading more in the series soon. Having met both of the characters before and having wanted to know more about them made this a timely holiday story to read before moving on To Elle and Archer’s story that is coming out in January 2017. There were introductory chapters from books 1, 2 and 3 of the series to give readers more of an idea about this wonderful series. Thank you to Edelweiss-abovethetreeline and Avon Impulse for the copy of this ARC. This is my honest review.

    Right here

This novella is book 2.5 from the acclaimed Heartbreaker Bay series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding of the series, I recommend reading these in order. Rory has wanted Eve since he can remember. He was kind of a tool in high school, but he feels like that was a missed opportunity. Now, he thinks she hates him. Eve wishes she could hate Rory, since he is the subject of many a nights dream. He is a very strong, virile figure who is very capable. Can they confront the past and move on? I was surprised by this story arc, if I am honest. I loved that the characters dug in and hashed everything out, even though they did not want to. The honesty, the sparks that flew, and the crazy banter makes this a very attractive read.

    Fabulous Holiday Romance

One Snowy Night is an outstanding holiday romance by Jill Shalvis. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Shalvis has produced a book that is well-written and populated with fantastic, lovable characters. Rory has promised to be home for Christmas. Max is going to the same area and Rory's boss asked him to give Rory a ride home. Max and Rory's story is loaded with drama, laugh out loud humor and spice. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to my next book by Jill Shalvis. One Snowy Night is book 2.5 of the Heartbreaker Bay Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

    Be Brave

I just finished reading an ARC of ONE SNOWY NIGHT, as well as the excerpts for the stories that go along with this book. I canNOT wait to read SWEET LITTLE LIES (Heartbreaker Bay#1), TROUBLE WITH MISTLETOE (Heartbreaker Bay #2), and ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE(Heartbreaker Bay #3). They are all stories that pull you in from the start. ONE SNOWY NIGHT was a short, quick read that I couldn't put down once I started reading it. It had me outright laughing at the characters banter, my husband just shook his head at me. Talk about two stubborn characters that don't think the other one likes them, but yet the each secretly have the hots for the other, and have since high school, while simultaneously thinking the other hates them. This ends with a HEA on many levels, after one snowy night of traveling. I look forward to reading the other stories as soon as book 3 is available, so I can read them as a completed storyline. Although this is book 2.5 of the Heartbreaker Bay series, I didn't feel lost or like I was missing anything by reading it first, each story could be read on its own, but the stories have a crossing storyline and characters. I LOVED IT! Although this was my first Jill Shalvis book, it won't be my last. I received an ARC via Tasty Book Tours through Edelweiss in exchange for an honest blog tour review.
