    Heart wrenching love story

This book explores the notion of having more than one true love. You fall in love with both characters and it really is hard not to cheer both of them on! TJReid is an exceptional author, absolutely love her novels. This book does not disappoint!

    What would YOU do?

4.5 Stars What would you do? Emma married her high school sweetheart, her soulmate, her true love, Jesse. They marry, they move far away and they both take jobs, with different companies, that allow them to travel the world and go to exotic places, occasionally together. They have the world in their pocket. They are living the life they always hoped for. On their first year wedding anniversary, Emma is told that her husband’s helicopter has crashed with no survivors. Emma is totally devastated and torn apart. Distraught, She packs up and moves back home. She grieves and eventually, after a couple of years, her heart heals and Emma finally allows herself to move on. She gets engaged to an old friend, Sam. That is when Emma gets a call from Jesse, three years after the crash, saying that he's alive. It’s a whirlwind of emotions. At times, I was on Jesse’s side, and at other times, I was on Sam’s. I found Jesse had neither evolved nor matured. Despite or because of his tragic accident and the physical and emotional trauma, he is stuck in the the past. Meanwhile, Emma has matured, taken on responsibilities and has now taken over and running the family bookstore. Taylor Jenkins Reids’ storytelling is easy to read and she captured both men beautifully. It was easy to fall in love with both of them. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. A must read!

    Worth the read

Interesting plot and if you can get past the strangeness of the situations, you'll love the characters. There's depth and beauty in how they've been crafted and how they interact
