  • Rom-com with a serious side

This was a good book. Not as good as the next book in the series, but still an enjoyable read. (I read the second book first.) If you enjoy new adult rom-coms with a serious side, and characters with physical and emotional challenges, you should check out this author. If you decide to read this book, please see the author's content warning and note about the inaccuracies in the story, which she includes at the very beginning. They will save you some grief.

  • Easy Read.

A great story with lots of hardship and love but it's definitely not as passionate as I thought it should be for the age group they are trying to target.

  • DNFed at 33%

I really tried with this one, but I can't really move past the way the heroine reacted to the hero getting hearing aids. She seems to be under some weird impression that it was rude of him to not let her know that he has new hearing aids. She has no filter and would say things that she didn't know he could hear. Apparently he was in the wrong for not telling her. Like what?? How about you control what you say around people and not take advantage of someone's disability. I tried to keep reading, but the heroine keeps mentioning it. I just can't with will. Ryder was great though.

    Thanks for your feedback!
