Short on action, long on fluff

Book IV and Book V could easily be combined, trimmed into a single book and still not have as much action as any of the first 3 books in this series. This book is full of filler and very little story. Unfortunately, there is a good deal of repetition, too. There is plenty of set-up for future action that doesn't occur, but you'd think finally would in the next novel...no such luck. Book V continues the fluff with promise of action w/o ever producing any action. Fortunately I got both for free -- even as well written as the characters and environment are, I'd say you are unlikely to get $5 of enjoyment out of this title if it's action you're looking for.

    Meanwhile, back at the farm...

Although much of this book was an "aside," the series continues to be quite entertaining and I am looking forward to the next book.

    Interesting

Very good read with more expansive plot, looking forward to the continuation. Was wandering though , how long the story will run?

    Breakout

Another good read although a little more convoluted than the earlier ones in the series.

    Break Out

Each book in the series has been better than the last. If you want, as I do, realistic combat this one was great by insuring the troops were real and had realistic human emotions and acted accordingly. On to the next novel.
