    Hunter Sgea delivers again!

Hunter Shea delivers again! One of the most prolific horror authors writing today, Hunter Shea always produces an excellent tale and Optical Delusion - second in his trio of novellas - Mail Order Massacres, is another winner. As with the first book - Just Add Water - it all starts with an advertisement in a comic book. X-Ray specs for only $1. Martin Blackstone's son acquires a pair and, after scolding him for wasting his money, Martin cannot help himself. He has to try them on. The result is a blinding headache, but still he perseveres because it seems the claims they make could just be true. He can see things he shouldn't be able to. He can see straight through objects and he can get some cheap kicks when he looks at a pretty young woman. But the more addicted he becomes, the more the glasses become a part of him, and that's when it all goes horribly wrong. This is a quick, horrifically fun ride and I eagerly await the third in the series.
