  • I REALLY really liked this story!

I REALLY really liked this story! Okay, here's what you need to know: Standalone, SCORCHING-HOT, shifters, excellent writing. Sold yet? In this loosely-based adaptation of The Jungle Book, I met Nadia, a very naive virgin. But I get it. After all, she was literally raised by wolves (shifters) in the middle of nowhere. But what I REALLY liked about her was that even though she was naive and innocent, she was no pushover nor a shrinking violet. Enter two visiting traders who take a special interest in her, and she with them. BUT, Nadia already had strong feelings for one of her packmates, Rhet, and he for her...but neither one knew how the other felt...isn't that delicious?! I LOVED that! However, the writing with regard to Rhet and Nadia was a little too good...their emotions and love were SO well done that I almost wanted her to send the travelers away and tell them she was already taken. I would LOVE to read more stories about other characters in this book...maybe Malik could get some redemption...? Either way, this writing team is AWESOME and I'm a BIG big big fan! (I read this story as part of the Fated Mates: A Limited Edition Collection of Paranormal Romance and Reverse Harem Shifter Novels, which I purchased)

    Thanks for your feedback!
