Good, but could have been better

This was not the first book I read by this author, and this was the author's first book, so I think the main reason I didn't rate the book higher was because the main theme the author was going for was a little too apparent. If the author had been a little more subtle, the book would have been a lot better. I wasn't a big fan of the way in which the characters got together, but I really enjoyed seeing them together. The book is also a great introduction to the family. I do plan to read the next book in the series.

    A Passion Most Pure

A very enjoyable read. It was a little slow starting, but soon got my attention. I enjoyed Faith, and her strong values were very refreshing. Her sister Charity was a spoiled little brat, and I am anxious to see her "brought down a few notches in book #2.

    The Daughters of Boston

This book leaves me soo lost for words be we had a read a Christian based book besides the bible of course that has led me through such a wild emotional coaster first it had me happy then crying and often held in suspense the book had so many twist and turns that I need we saw coming at the end it just left me saying wow; wow at the glory of God in these characters lives through each character the Lord led them through a spiritual journey that held an important lesson at the end. This book was the first Christian based fiction I have ever read that left me wondering what was coming next and would the ending be under a happy ending. This book was not an ordinary page turner noo it was a book that had you inside the story as if you were there watching it all unfold
