Patient Zero Joe Ledger Book 1.

A dystopian zombie story with an unlikely frontman hero. Joe Ledger feels like Die Hard's John McClain and features an x-men like ensemble cast. A Noir cop story with a lot of action narrative that has Maxx Payne video gameish moments. Drags at times with the slow-motion narratives but has its moments with clever dialogue and insightful character development. I would recommend this read for guys that like shooter video games and/or 1950's cop shows like the Untouchables or Dragnet. I haven't read a ton of zombie books. This one is more about the hero than the zombie "epidemic" 3.5/5

    A Must Read novel!!!!

Great novel!!! It has been a long time since a story has engulfed all of my time to finish it. It is a must read and the main character, Joe Ledger, is by far one of my favorite characters ever written.

    Jack Reacher and Zombies

Airplane book. Not a lot of depth. Super macho main character. Lots of double taps to the Head. Lots of action. Entertaining.

    patient zero

It's a great thriller, hard to put down. like David Morrell meets Stephen King. But honestly, the chapter numbering is so messed up that it is truly distracting and annoying. I wish editors were better these days. A lot of these errors detract from the quality of the writing. Still, it's a great read.
