    Quinton is AMAZING!

This book in the Playing Dirty series features Quinton and Callie. First let me say that the character growth for Quinton was flawlessly amazing and the writing is fantastic. I love that there was a big age difference, her being older than him, but the author didn’t dwell on it. Had we not been told the difference in their ages, I would not have been able to tell. Their accidental romance was sweet and VERY steamy. Their first kiss was amazing and it took ME by surprise, as I’m definitely sure she was surprised as well! He’s so clever! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

A good secret baby romance …

This is a good secret baby romance featuring a womanizing pro-football player and the sister of his deceased baby-mama who’s challenging him for custody of his newborn son. I enjoyed Callie’s feistiness and determination to do what was right for her nephew. Her bitterness and anger over her personal circumstances made for some extreme reactions at times. Despite a strong attraction, can Callie set aside her trust issues to take a chance on Quinn? Is he able to give her what her heart truly desires? Is she that one special woman who can love Quinn for himself – rather than his fame and fortune? I enjoyed this couple’s slow burn to romance and their earlier snarky banter. There was plenty of drama and angst along with several steamy encounters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    ****

Quinton finds a baby on his doorstep. Tracking down the mother doesn’t have the intended result. Instead he finds Callie and everything changes. But can Callie trust him? Letting go of their pasts isn’t easy and almost details them.

    I was completely smitten

I was completely smitten with Quinton, he was a sexy sweet caring man who was stuck in a routine that just wasn't working anymore. Calle is has so much love and care to give but has had the worst of luck. I couldn't help but want each of them to finally find what they needed in the other. Their journey was amazing and so Flippin sexy it dang near melted my kindle!!

    Perfect hit!

Callie’s been cheated and mistreated by both her husband and her sister. All she’s ever dreamed of was being a mother but after years of trying she concedes it isn’t in her future. But the worse of it all is when she learns her sister is pregnant and it’s more than likely Callie’s husband is the father. Quinton is tired of the easy pickups his position as starting quarterback for the Wildcats allows him. He doesn’t say no to them, but he keeps waiting for the one woman that can see him as more than his job, name and bank account. When a baby is deposited on his doorstep he doesn’t have a clue who the mother could be. But when he follows the barely remembered trail of a night long forgotten he meets Callie. And suddenly, that dream of a woman who sees him as just HIM, is standing right there. This book had a lot of hits and near misses for me. At times I was upset by the decisions the heroine made and that the hero yielded to. But suddenly one or the other took a different step that I wasn’t expecting and that near miss was the perfect hit. I felt the struggle Callie had and the despair Quinton experienced as they faced a standoff that had the potential to destroy the promise of a future together. This was a fast paced read, just a bit angsty at times, the steam factor in the red zone and with great secondary characters. I’m extremely curious about Lathan’s story and will definitely be checking it out ASAP!
