    Fantastic Read

Crosby and Kenna. Such a wonderful story with broken people who fit perfectly together. Both with impenetrable walls. Both in desperate need of being able to trust a significant other. And both finding something incredible in the other. Kenna has constantly felt unwanted in her life... a burden. That is until she meets Harriet. An amazing woman who sees how beautiful Kenna is inside and out. But after the death of her greatest role model, our heroine must face nearly unbearable trials. Throughout all this, Crosby (Harriet's lawyer) is by her side. The playful banter quickly turns into something more. Something that Kenna didn't even realize that she was missing. Catherine Cowles takes you through the wringer a bit in Perfect Wreckage, but she also pulls you through to the other side with the sweet balm of happily ever after to heal the ache.

Tragic, romantic and a great read.

This the second novel in the Wrecked Series, with wonderful characters. Friends like family, twists and turns you don’t expect and a lot of tears! After a childhood of turmoil, Kenna ended up being adopted by her grandmothers best friend Harriett, and living on Anchor Island. Finally someone who loved and cared for her. But Harriett couldn’t protect her from the heartache of the boy she loved throwing her away and the tragedy that follows. Now years later she has settled into her life caring for Harriett, spending time with her best friends who are like sisters. Another friend has joined the group, his name is Crosby. He and Kenna are like oil and water, he loves to get under her skin. They are attracted to each other, but both have secrets they don’t want to share, but when Kenna needs his help with some legal problems, little by little they’re secrets need to be told. I found this story very emotional. Seeing Kenna come out of her shell, and start to realize her own worth was very satisfying. The slow growing love story was perfect. This novel can be read as a stand alone, but the first in the series is equally enjoyable.

    Great story

Another great story in the series! Crosby is not at all what he seems when this story first starts. He is such a great guy and Kenna needs him so badly.

Two damaged souls makes for the perfect wreckage

Two souls who were damaged, yet two souls that are so incredibly strong in their own way. I adore how these two enemies become the biggest supporters of each. They are scared to move ahead and yet can't fight the pull. Their chemistry was amazing and I love how two different people find their way together! This book makes the reader realize that there is life after heartache and you are always stronger than you think you are. This is a must read!

    Such a captivating story

I was so enthralled with this book that I had a hard time putting it down to do responsible things like feed my family and help my son with distance learning. This book was constantly with me while I did everything including sitting in the pre-k pickup line just to be able to read any second I had a chance. This book made me feel all the emotions right along with characters. I laughed, almost cried, cursed people under my breath and felt like I was right there experiencing everything with Kenna and Crosby. Kenna and Crosby stole my heart. The banter between them, friendship that bloomed, all the new things we leaned about them just had me loving them and even more. This is my new favorite book by Catherine Cowles replaced by another book with names that start with K and C, I’m seeing a pattern here and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
