Synopsis

Two women running away from their marriages collide on a foggy highway, killing one of them. The survivor, Isabelle, is left to pick up the pieces, not only of her own life, but of the lives of the devastated husband and fragile son that the other woman, April, has left behind. Together, they try to solve the mystery of where April was running to, and why. As these three lives intersect, the book asks, How well do we really know those we love-and how do we forgive the unforgivable?

First book I've read by this author, and one of the best books I've read in a long time. I highly reckoned this book.

    Nice read.

This story reminds me of the monkey and the cookie jar. Sometimes you have to let go to get what you want. Nice read.

I thought the story could have been a true story because life really happens that way. Good read .Read it in one day couldn't put it down.

    Pctures of You

A page turner. Makes one ponder what is love and is it the same for every one. Smiles, tears, and cuddles all apart of love.

Pictures of You by Caroline Leavitt

Although the premise was a bit unlikely, I thoroughly enjoyed this book about a woman who dies in a car accident leaving behind a loving husband and an asthmatic 9 year old son. The novel is an exploration into how well we truly know our loved ones and how our character flaws and strengths define us. I would read other books by this author.
