    Thanks for your feedback!

    Hot bad-boy, steamy romance.

Sweet for a SEAL is part of the Caribbean Nights series but can be read as a standalone – there is no cliffhanger. The story is smoking hot and told in first person with the Hero and heroine alternating chapters. Finn is a former SEAL who’s never had a real relationship but he’s had lost of women. Vali’s not interested in a relationship but she wants to get her mother off her back about getting married. This has the makings of the perfect arrangement – until it all goes wrong. The book has lots of sexy time and lots of strong language. I found it a bit coarser than what I used to expect from Anne Marsh’s books but I still enjoyed this one quite a bit. If you can get past the more than liberal use of the F-word throughout the book the underlying romance is a good one. I look forward to reading books for Finn’s business partners. I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.

    Sweet and sexy romance!

It's not often that I read a contemporary romance (not new adult) that is written in dual first person points of view, but that's the case here with retired Navy SEAL Finn and sweet shoppe owner Valentina. In this case, I think it worked out rather well, as Finn's character involves some PTSD trauma as well as the self-deprecating humour of a guy who knows he's a player and has never really wanted anyone to stick - until he meets Vali. And Vali herself has gone through struggles, with a sister and aunt who died of breast cancer, making her take the pre-emptive strike to have a double mastectomy. The result is a woman who wants to live life to the fullest but is also sensitive to her body (in particular, her new fake breasts). They meet when Finn rescues Vali from a car accident, and from then on, they just seem to click - but will it be enough for Finn to forego his player ways? This story combines three main themes- 1) a relationship of convenience (to get Vali's mother, who worries about her daughter because of the family history of cancer, off her back by faking one with Finn), 2) the reformation of a bad boy (as Finn is quite happy to provide any service Vali might require, especially if it will help him out with a little bet he made with a friend) and 3) Vali gaining back her self confidence in her body. I liked all of it, and Finn and Vali definitely have some chemistry together, sharing some sweet and super sexy scenes. There was a bit of drama near the end that added some conflict - I don't know that it was necessary really, as just the two of them getting through their own issues was enough for me. In the end, Vali decides to trust that Finn is ready to put his player ways behind him, and Finn is quite capable of showing Vali he appreciates her body no matter how she got it. I also really liked the occupations that the two of them have. Finn's company involves caring for aged military dogs, training young pups for search and rescue and general animal adoption for strays. It made for some fun and amusing scenes. And Vali runs her own bakery/sweet shoppe and I loved hearing about all her concoctions. 4 stars for this sexy story.

    Another sexy SEAL!

4 1 /2 STARS! Book 3 in the ASSIGNMENT: Caribbean Nights series is brought to us by Anne Marsh. She introduces us to bad boy Finn Callahan and turns him lose to charm us with his life story and quirky attitude before she has him stumble across his damsel in distress! Finn Callahan is a former Navy SEAL, all-around good guy and a sexy player! He's partnering with a couple of former teammates in a business off the Florida Keys and is enjoying life. He loves women, and they love him ... but only for a few hours, and then he's off to the next adventure! Valentina Fuentes is all for living life to it's fullest and when she is rescued from a little car trouble by a sexy hunk of a man, she's only too ready to climb him like a tree! She can tell just from talking to him that he's a love 'em and leave 'em type, and that's just fine with her. When Finn actually wants more than a one night stand for a change, will he be able to convince Vali that he's worth keeping around?
