    Play to win

Chloe Talley hooks up with Grant Osprey at Comic-Con while in character. Their Cosplay turns HOT and they decide to extinguish the flames the old fashioned way. Only he turns up the heat. Later, Grant meets her in a restaurant while dining with her brother. And again later. They keep meeting like this and he might start to get ideas. If he didn't already have them, that is. Chloe, and her family, have been through a lot since losing her sister. It has been 2 years and she seems to be the family scapegoat for feelings of all kinds. Can she be selfish and take for her own needs? Grant just cannot stop thinking of the beautiful and smashing Chloe. It is starting to effect his work too. He wants to see her out of Cosplay and in a real life role. Her brother wants to kill him if he so much as hints at it. What's a guy to do? This story has so much to offer the reader! It is full of nerdy sayings, angst, humor, satire, lust, and so much more. I found the book was not one I could put down. The characters are so achingly refreshing in a book that has so many surprises and smoking hot sexy times. ***This ARC was given for review purposes only.

    Hot, hot, hot!

Grant and Chloe know how to turn up the heat no matter where they are or who they are pretending to be! The role play throughout the story was something that I hadn't read about before and it made the story really fun. I liked the first book where I first met Grant and his daughter, so I loved seeing Chloe fit in with them. My only complaint is that the story was too short, just like with Changing His Game, I would have liked to see their relationship develop more thoroughly, although I did feel the emotional connection between them. Even though it is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. 4.5 stars I received an ARC via NetGalley for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

    Great read

After a wild, crazy, and completely anonymous night, Grant Osprey can't get the woman he met at the gamer convention out of his head. Too bad she was gone when he woke. No name, no number, no finding her! Imagine his shock when he meets his new business partners sister. Yep, you guessed it! His very aloof mystery woman. Chloe can't believe her bad luck. The one time she decides to let go and get a little crazy comes back to bite her. It's not that she wouldn't like a little more time with Grant, but that woman he was with wasn't her, not really. That night she was brave, wild, and uninhibited. Everything Chloe isn't!! This one was a great read. Loved the characters and pace of the story. I would definitely recommend this one. (

    Nerdy romance in cosplay!

This book really focussed on the self esteem issues people face and the reasons behind them. Most of these issues stem from an unbalanced upbringing and parents being unable to treat all siblings fairly and equally. Chloe Talley faced similar issues and is now quite uncomfortable being herself. The only way she can express herself is if she wear the persona of someone else. Which is why she makes such a great effort towards cosplay. Grant Osprey on the other hand takes everything in his stride. He lives life on his own terms and takes care of everyone attached to him be they his friends or his family. A chance encounter for the both of them turns into a one night stand - in cosplay. But they don't exchange names or numbers and she slips away before he's awake. But he can't forget her and she can't forget him. Then fate brings them together again. Chloe is Grant's new business partner's sister! What follows is some steamy, role playing hook ups and very nerdy humor. But Grant wants the real Chloe now and that send Chloe running. Gamers is turning out to be one of my favorite series. So looking forward to the next title in the series ARC provided in exchange for an honest review

    Romantic with an edge!

Here we are, back in the gamers world. This time it's Grant Osprey's turn to find his HEA. They met at comic con, doing cosplay as Sari and Breck from Aric's Revenge and had that amazing anonymous hook up. While waiting at a restaurant for Ethan, his new magazine partner, who should walk in on his arm but Ethan's sister, Chloe. Only Grant knew her as Sari. SURPRISE!!! Fantastic story! I love the "wounded soul and the one willing to do anything to make them whole again" story line. So romantic! This one is romantic but with a sexy edge. The fact that Grant is a dad, just gives it a little more depth. I can't wait for Ethan story! Review copy provided via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.
