    He’s a good dad!

This is book 5 in the York Bombers Hockey series and it features Aaron and Savannah. Neighbors for a year and extremely attracted to each other, he’s fearful of taking that plunge back into dating, especially with two daughters depending on him. Savannah is fairly easy going, independent and her own boss. She’s a little scatterbrained as far as her sexy hockey player neighbor is concerned because watching him just does it for her. He has issues. Trust issues, dating issues, parenting issues and so on. It’s a good thing his mother is around to help with his daughters because her advice is invaluable to him. I love the story line! I would have loved Aaron even more if he hadn’t been so fickle and clueless about everything. I almost find it irritating to read about him. Anyways, the story line was fantastic and so are most of the characters.

    Playing it safe

A wonderful story. Great storyline, great characters, Savannah and Aaron were great, not to mention they had believable chemistry. I loved that Aaron was a hockey player. However, I would have loved the story even more if it were told in the first point of view. 4.5 stars I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Hockey Hunk

I love hockey romance, hockey players just have that something extra. Aaron is a single dad whose daughters have recently come to live with him after their mom's death. He's the "pops" of his team... a mature player. Savannah is his next-door neighbor not looking for a relationship, especially not kids. This was a slow burn because Aaron is socially inept, not really knowing how to romance the girl. The storyline was good and enjoyable.

    Excellent Read

I throughly enjoyed this book, Aaron who is a hockey player suddenly gets full time care of his daughters after his ex passes away. Aaron is not your typical arrogant self assured hockey player. He has no idea how to raise two daughters especially one just hitting high school age. His neighbour Savannah is determined to live her life single with no kids due to a dysfunctional family life. These two get are both attracted to each other but afraid of their feelings because Aaron has two daughters. Aaron's ex wife was a partier and he doesn't want to do anything that will make the girls feel like they don't come first. Although Savannah understands she is also confused and disappointed as she would like to come first in Aaron's eyes. Add Aaron's mom who helps guide them both through their relationship and you get a very interesting, enjoyable story. The author spent lots of time working on the relationships Aaron has with his daughters, and Savannah. It wasn't one of those they meet and next thing they are sleeping together. Well worth the read
