    Cole and Savannah

Very similar to the other stories in this series but still a good read. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

    Love the play-by-play series

Thank you Jaci Burton. Honestly I could read book after book of this series but I force myself not to cause I know that if I read a couple of disappointing books and need my faith in a good novel restored I can pick up one of yours and feel that all is right and balanced in the world again.

Cole Riley is a bad, bad boy and Savannah has been brought in to change his image…and ends up falling for the hunky football player. Both try to fight it but the chemistry can’t be denied. As Cole slowly changes his image and his relationship with his new teammates, Savannah falls quickly for Cole, and his family. Can she keep the professional and personal sides of Cole separate, or will they continue to intersect, destroying the walls Savannah has carefully built to protect herself and her heart? I really wanted to love this book, but there was just something about it that prevented me from enjoying the story. I found that in this series, the sex scenes often use the same vernacular and it tends to get a little boring after a while. Also the same pro-athlete-bad-boy-I-just-want-to-have-fun-and-not-a-relationship type of main character seems repetitive as well. While I understand that most young men in professional sports are usually playboys, it would be nice for a change in the troupe. However, despite the previously stated, I really enjoy this series and the large family that is The Rileys. This family just keeps getting bigger, louder, and easier to love. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!
