    Amazing

Anna Weber is the new librarian in town and she fits the role perfectly. Conservative dress, quiet, old fashioned, but there's something about her that draws the attention of one very sexy Cowboy! Problem is, Anna has secrets. Those secrets make letting anyone get too close impossible. Cowboy is outgoing, fun, with a personality and reputation as big as Texas itself. He's determined to get to know Anna and he want's to know everything! Can she be the one woman who could tame this wild Cowboy or will her past and her secrets keep them apart??? This was an amazing read and it had a bit of everything. A bit of mystery, a bit of suspense, and a whole lot of romance and sexy times! It's very well written and the story will grab you from the beginning and keep you turning page after page. I love this group of characters and Cowboy is one of my favorites. So happy his story is as wonderful as it is. This is definitely a book that should go on everyone's must read list. I highly recommend it.

    Playing with Fire

As a proper librarian, relationships aren’t easy for Anna Weber and she knows all too well what it means to be burned so the last thing she wants to do is fall in love in this captivating contemporary romance. Cowboy can’t resist the fiery little librarian and he’s determined to make her his but he has to wonder if he’s found the one fire he can’t control and the reader can’t help but get drawn into the intriguing romance as the chemistry between Anna and Cowboy heats up the pages and flares out of control with fireworks exploding during some very explosive encounters. The strong, compelling characters demand attention as they capture the reader’s heart with lots of emotional turmoil and a roller coaster of a relationship while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot keeps expectations high with lots of suspense, excitement and romance. Anna has lots of secrets concerning her past and she’s doesn’t really trust anyone but she can’t resist Cowboy no matter how much they infuriate each other and the excitement builds as the danger escalates and secrets are revealed with lots of unexpected twists that keeps readers guessing. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination making it easy for the reader to become absorbed in the story while the intriguing events and fiery romance ensures that there is never a dull moment to be found and some friendly ribbing between friends and family add a bit of light-hearted fun. I was completely caught up in this story from beginning to end and I have to say that Anna and Cowboy sure knew how to keep me on my toes until the very end with all the tangles in their romance and I am looking forward to becoming Tangled in Texas again.

    LOVED it!!

OMG, and here I thought Jake and Emily were crazy. "LOL" Finally, the book we’ve all been dying to get our hands on! We first met Cowboy in Rules of Protection. What we saw there was the player, the man who has a new girl in his bed every night. He’s charming, he’s funny and he’s the ultimate player. Love ‘em and leave ’em is his motto and he’s fine with that. His reputation surely doesn’t bother him until he meets Anna. She has a lot of secrets and hides behind old fashioned clothes, trying to keep everyone at a distance. She’s smart and the total opposite of the women that have always trailed after the hot fireman but, when their worlds collide, it’s going to be an event that will change their lives forever. Saying that I loved this book is not enough. Alison has really outdone herself. It was nice to see all the characters together and how the connections between all of them have developed and changed. Emily is the same smartass we all know and love and she still keeps Jake on his toes while Cowboy and Anna figuring things out is a hilarious comedy of errors. There’s a lot of mystery surrounding Anna and strange things happen wherever she goes. The suspense mixed with the humor and the romance made this novel very hard to put down. I was up all night reading and I don’t regret a thing. Hard to believe this is Alison’s second book. Her writing is brilliant and she’s getting better with every novel she puts out there. She’s also a big tease. Really, Ali? Teasing us with Cowboy’s real name and leaving us hanging? Not nice. *pouting* Another highly recommended must read. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next novel. Happy Reading!!

    sexy and charming

I made the mistake of opening this book just to take a look and I didn’t put it down for 2 days. That’s how long it took me to read the whole thing because I had my nose buried in it every chance I had – the characters are interesting and the plot is well-paced. All around a nicely written story. I get the feeling that Cowboy was well loved in the first book and readers pushed for him to have his own, but not having read Rules of Protection this was my first introduction to him. And wow what an intro it was. He’s sexy and charming, smart and caring. He’s also cocky and a whole lot too sure of his appeal. I don’t think I ever got a good feeling on why he was against relationships before Anna – usually they have some reason, but his may just have been that he hadn’t needed to settle down before :) Anna has her own issues (quite doozies too) and not the least of which is her insane attraction to overly confident Cowboy. She’s got reasons for avoiding any kind of entanglement but there’s just something about him that she can’t resist. I really enjoyed seeing these two dance around each other but end up at the mercy of their feelings. There’s a little bit of mystery involved that is a nice complement to the romance. I didn’t expect the ending, which is always nice, and I think that Bliss does a great job of tying everything up with a nice pretty bow. I’m definitely looking forward to more in this series and I’m gonna have to get my hands on Book 1! (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

    This Fire is Hot!

Anna Weber is a girl on the run, she has a habit of burning bridges when her past catches up with her. She arrived in Liberty, Texas with a plan that included sneaking out in the dead of the night when the time came. A series of mysterious fires plus a determined fire department captain named Cowboy have her feet warming up. But she is fighting a losing battle if she thinks the obstinate bumpkin with the smexy bod will let her get out of his reach. Not only because he is suspicious of her but because all her attempts at getting away from him only turns him on more. man [man] noun, plural men. ~Curious creatures that make no sense. For a someone who doesn't want to show his driver's license because he fears his birthname being found out by his friends and family; Cowboy is doing a good impression of a guy wanting to attach his last name to his obsession. Anna is this fireman's addiction, seeing her, hearing her, and touching her just fuels his desire. It's that "she's different than all other women" thing and Cowboy needs his arrogant babe ego deflated by a good woman. Anna has taken the job and she excels. For me there were a few problems and the largest being the pages I, myself, wanted to set a fire too. Cowboy is a massive retard when he finds out his expectations of her lack of experience doesn't meet his expectations. He reaches major douchebag levels when he slut shames her for assumptions he made based on her blushes. Alison should have let Emily whip his tight buttocks for that part of the novel. Some word choice and awkward sentences caught me up too and had me reading them a few times trying to figure out why they didn't seem right to me. I'm unsure if they are editing errors, or writing issues, it's mainly strange word choices and awkward sentence structure. That is really nitpicky because I read a lot of books with larger acts of grammar destruction on a regular basis. The only reason I make a point of mention it is because Playing With Fire is published through Entangled and they are known for high standards. I highly recommend this. It doesn't HAVE to be read in order of the series because these novels are stand-alone but Rules of Protection introduce Emily and Jake, you should experience the full Emily experience to get what she is like in this novel.
